unfortunately due to scheduling issues i cant... i might do some marketing work with them and will be selling their clutch kit on my website.

both companies are awesome and have people you can actually talk to instead of just "sales reps"

should be getting more updates this week and car back by thursday!!! super pumped cant wait!!!

Definitely going with Injen for my intake. My roommate had an Injen intake on his v6 2012 Camaro and he loved it. Seeing how they are made confirms it for me. I know its a Japanese car but I like to keep as much business as I can here in the USA.

they designed 4 different prototypes but settled on one, you will see in the coming days the finished product, pricing, and all of that on my site and ready to go for purchase :D

Wow, Injen seems to be a cool company for letting you document their business practice, and how everything is made in house in the USA. After reading your blog post, I am seriously considering them for my intake needs, among other local manufacturers :)

Dropped the car off at Injen this morning. Super excited to see what they can come up with... Especially since they are looking at making an exhaust, too.

Hopefully I'll have the car back tomorrow. I'm not sure how much I'll be able to release about what they are working on, but I'll make sure to ask. I'm operating as though I am under an NDA out of respect for their hard work.

Picking it up this afternoon. I have to wait and see what they are comfortable with me sharing, as they have been testing out a lot of different intake and exhaust designs. I should have some data up here tonight. :)

Yeah Adrian just told me he sent off the finished part for production. Can't wait to have these on the car and sell them!!! Will be up on site ASAP!! :)

Is there an intake out yet?

They have finalized their design and it is sitting on my car right now. I can't release pictures or dyno data yet, as I am waiting for an email from Injen letting me know what they are comfortable releasing at this point.

I can say that the intake tone is much more throaty and muscular, and, in my opinion, really improves the sound of the engine when the throttle is cracked open a bit more.

I also saw their prototype cat-back for the frs/BRZ. It looked absolutely stunning on my car, but needs another week or so of work before they are done with it. I'll be bringing my car back up for more tests the week after next, and I was promised that I can release a lot more information between now and then. I will probably start a new thread to contain it all, but I have a lot of pictures to share.

By the way, the intake definitely frees the engine up to run at higher RPM. The increase in responsiveness from the car is readily apparent. I am very pleased with what has been done so far. It's killing me not to be able to show more data yet...
