Ultimate racing turbo kit

Just got the ultimate racing kit I have to wait until I get my car reffed since I'm in Cali for now. Can't wait to get it installed and tuned after the 4th of july.

So giving a little review I been talking to them for about a year now and they have had great customer service and they answered all my questions.

So the packaging was good was decent if you get the smaller battery kit you get the battery with in a couple days. The kit comes a week later. I will keep you guys updated.

Just finished the install today. Had a exhaust leak due to me having a bad gasket and oil leak due the line not being tight. No base tune so still need a tune. But all in all good kit. If you haven't heard of ultimate racing look them up good product so far and pretty easy to install. And they are will to help with any question which I did because I was confused about a few thing on the instructions. They are clearing that up though. Post videos once tuned.

That is a tiny battery! How many CCA is that rated for?

brzy007 07-12-2015 10:33 PM

the CCA is rated 170.

calmtigers 07-13-2015 04:04 AM

So is this another kit that hooks to the over pipe?

brzy007 07-13-2015 08:45 AM

Impressive.

This setup mimics the WRX/STI turbo mounting setup where it utilizes what they call an up pipe and then the downpipe from the turbo replaces the overpipe. I hope you are protecting all the wires and the DI controller from all that turbo heat in that area.

carlitosway6891 07-13-2015 11:12 AM

so how does the turbo oil drain work on this setup? back to the pan? or are you able to go to the cam plate from there? photos?

Cockatoo 07-13-2015 11:19 AM

Looks like a nice kit!

I'd be scared with such a small battery if I had a decent stereo in the car... The bass hits and what's that? Damn my lights turned off for 3 seconds? :confused0068:

As you seem to be the first person on the forum with this kit - what is the cost of the kit?

Cockatoo 07-14-2015 09:09 AM

http://store.ultimate-racing.com/pro...-frs-turbo-kit

brzy007 07-16-2015 12:52 PM

Yes the oil connects to the cam plate.

The cost depends on what set up you get my set up was $3700.

I'm still have stock speakers but if I do it will be two 8" or 10".

I'm in field since I'm military so I have the flash and go tune from delicious just have to put the tune in. And I'm not around my car so I can't take pic until Friday of the up pipe and down pipe. But correct on the wrx/ sti set up.

Streetthrowback 07-17-2015 10:50 PM

Dyno?

D_Thissen 07-17-2015 11:20 PM

I agree, there's a lot of sensitive wiring in that area that would need to be protected.

brzy007 07-18-2015 01:09 AM

Tuned with a flash and go custom tune coming soon. Then I can tell you guys numbers. My piping is wrapped so should help with the wiring but my wires are protected though.

brzy007 12-17-2015 11:30 AM

well I just bought a fuel pump and injectors and hopefully I can get a dyno tune soon. im still running a flash and go tune with 11psi now but hopefully ill get a dyno tune before I leave Cali if not ill get one in NC.
