In an attempt to reverse my hijacking the thread on the first reply, I wouldn't trust myself parking that close while backing up. Going forward and at speed I feel comfortable getting within inches of objects, but in reverse I forget how to wheel.

scottxnizzle 06-24-2015 11:16 AM

I park my passenger side as close as possible, I still want to get out of the car yenno LOL

Jfheisenberg 06-24-2015 12:03 PM

i double park and take two spots really far away from everybody. is that bad?

N1rve 06-24-2015 12:12 PM

I sees my car :)

sukumizu 06-24-2015 01:16 PM

Always park next to walls/pillars and always park as close to them as possible... Even if it means slowly squeezing through my door :)

I trust my abilities getting in and out of parking spots more than people who wouldn't mind slamming their doors or belongings on other people's cars lol.

Edit: A picture. Could have gone closer.

I carry 4 Orange cones and "Police Line Do Not Cross" tape everywhere I go. Seems to keep the Riff-Raff away.

Kind of limited to the previous dimensions.
I've scuffed the left rear quarter several times already.

This kitty derailed the thread in 1st attempt

miosaki 06-26-2015 01:56 PM

the box of Newports next to the kitty though. She tough.

zc06_kisstherain 06-26-2015 02:08 PM

i park like that as well to avoid door ding

The Feds 06-26-2015 02:20 PM

parking close to a wall, pillar or whatever is good. most of the time it will take care of most people that would normally ding your car.

But sometimes regardless how careful you are, there's an idiot that's gonna mess up your day lol... they might not share the same idea as you and park in your spot as well.

Teseo 06-26-2015 02:57 PM

What happened with the fd? @Choco

Eski 06-26-2015 03:00 PM

What kind of a man gives CIGARETTES TO CATS?!?

WingZer0 06-26-2015 04:23 PM

passenger side, most of the time if a parking spot next to wall/pillar is available.

FloridaBRZ 06-26-2015 05:17 PM

No. I do not park like that. I park as far away from everyone else as possible. My wife hates me for it. I say she needs to walk more. I would NOT recommend that as a rebut to a debate you are bound to lose anyway......
