It all started one year ago for me...

I saw my first 86 then, it manifested into a dream and I began my pursuit.

Today I am happy to say that I can finally update my profile! Here's my new(to me) 2013 AT FR-S.:)

Probably a mixture of both. Larger downpayment in lieu of updating my old phone haha.

And Thanks!

Haha thanks man! Still hard to believe that I actually made it happen, it feels surreal.

What kind if plans do you have for her?

Or are you currently wanting to enjoy the thrill without plans?

Plans are just to take my time and try to enjoy every second (while avoiding tickets haha). And also work as hard as I can to obtain the title as quickly as possible. Not really into flashy upgrades, I think this car is beautiful just as it is although I will be considering new wheels and possibly tint down the road.

Similar route here! I was going to get coilovers but I'm happy with stock suspension. Wheels, I'm happy with for now. Just going to do a few little additions and thats it.

The day the title arrives in the mail will be the day we celebrate freedom!

Wheels and tint will go a long way to improving the stock looks. I'm sure if you look through the wheel sub forum, you'll find a set you like.

Welcome! From a fellow Argento, clear sidemarkers are not that much and improve the looks. Guaranteed to also add 5hp or more!

funwheeldrive 06-20-2015 01:53 AM

Congrats on the car, it looks like the owner took really good care of it! I've had my FRS for over a year now, and I find myself still loving it more and more.

Congrats, and looks almost pristine for almost 30k miles! I have a soft spot for silver (my SS is SIM). Take care of it and it will take care of you.

Dream car: Check! On to the next...

Yessir! After driving a little more I'm now definitely wanting stickier tires at some point, I still have the primacy's on with 30k miles now so I need to be doing research soon, maybe I can save them for play while they have some good tread left on them. Also dashcam is a must!

Did lots of looking on wheel options before I bought, and I must say now, that up close I actually really like the stock wheels for now. At least until I can save up more for new ones, and when that time comes I think I'm going metallic black.

Thank you! I will check out the side markers, install must be a breeze right?

Thank you. The interior is even better, it's immaculate. Found out through the carfax that it was a lease vehicle so that could have to do with the condition. Getting up close I found about 6-8 very small (pin tip) nicks on the front bumper, need to do some research on the best method to touch up and polish before I do my first waxing.

Thanks! I think the silver was a matter of fate. Honestly I had test driven a couple before and for what ever reason, I fell in love with THIS one. I have no idea why. Silly me held out for a whole year to find a used hot lava with the right miles/condition. After driving myself crazy I narrowed down my deadline and started considering other colors. And I'm glad I did because personally I think the Argento looks so classy and sophisticated. Have seen more Lavas on the road since and really they beg to be bathed in sun, darker conditions just don't strike the eye but I feel the Argento is good to go all around! Love your signature by the way
