Yes! Finally, finally... after hundreds of emails back & forth, several thousand hours working behind the scene & countless hairs pulling. We're officially announcing 2015 86EXPO in West Virginia, so mark your calendar!!!

When: August 15 & 16
Where: Summit Point Motorsports Park
What: Autox, Car Show, Meet & Greet, Raffle Prizes, & A LOT OF FUN!

Space is limited, they have set 60 car maximum, so don't wait to register.

IMPORTANT NOTE
We are NOT using NASA car classing for this event. When you register please simply list one of these three abbreviations in the "transponder number" or "sponsor" or "additional comments" box:

"FI" for Forced Induction 86/BRZ Class
"NA" for Naturally Aspirated 86/BRZ Class
"O" for Other Car Class (non 86/BRZ)

[Your registration is NOT complete until one of these three 86EXPO autocross class choices is in there somewhere.]

So please, please, PLEASE put the Class in the one of three boxes.

Yes, we're having car show again! You think, you got what it takes to be Best 86 or Best BRZ? PM @Guff with:

We'll try our best to put everyone in the spot, but we're not sure how much space we have for car show, so we might choose limited amount of cars. If that happened, please forgive us... or blame Guff.

I have two request please :)

Maybe a poll and see if we can get a drift pad for day 2? I know summit point has a location for that and it used to 20 bucks (it might have gone up since). That would make the 2nd day more interesting rather then just looking at cars.

&

2nd request...Please no endurance events. I recall last year it was 9 - 5 pm for the show and I personally felt the day was just dragging on (plus it was hot as ^#$*$*!!! that day). Maybe a 6 hour day.

2. Well, technically it was 9~4... but it felt dragging for sure. Prob cuz it was HOT day. BUT we've learn from the mistake and I'm aiming around 11~3 or 4-ish event. That's not too too bad right?

Looking Forward to this event that we will be hosting a pre event party at our facility for those of you who are in town early.

For those of you that are in town Early for the Expo we want to welcome you to our facility for a Friday event called Beer and Boxers! More Detailed information will be posted soon but our facility can accommodate over 10+ Cars on the dyno and over 100+ cars to come hang out have a beer grab some food and talk tech with us!

I got a email from NASA that the autox event is being moved to Sunday. Will the car meet be moving to Saturday or will everything be on Sunday now?

Sorry, I haven't updated here for a long time (last week was my birthday week).

Anyways, this is important update, so please read it carefully.

Due to some unforeseen scheduling conflicts with the track, this autocross is now on a different part of the facility and will take place one day later - on Sunday August 16 (instead of Saturday August 15)

If you cannot attend as a result of it being one day later, please contact Jon (jfelton@drivenasa.com) before 6pm this Friday (July 10) so they can cancel your entry and do a 100% refund to your card. If you are still planning to attend there is no need to reply or do anything.

Yes, we're working on having another fun venue to replace Saturday's event! So please be patient with us.

Yes, autox event have been moved to Sunday... BUT! We're still planning to do some fun event on Saturday as well, so stay tune and thanks for your patience

And let me answer some of you guys questions.

Q. I want to register for car show, but is autox gonna be in the way?
A. No, car show judging is done before noon, while autox is in afternoon, so you can do both.

Q. Am I going to break my car, if I autox?
A. That's all depend on how crazy you drive... but usually people don't break their car doing autox.

Q. Do I need to provide my own helmet?
A. If you don't have a helmet, NASA will provide several helmets.

Q. Can I co-drive with my friend.
A. Sure, you can co-drive with your friend, brother, father, sister, mother or even grandmother!

First thing first, I want to apologized that I haven't updated anything in a while. I have got into car wreck (girl rear-ended my car), had to move out of current place, plus my pc died on me (currently using my friend's Mac) within 2~3wks making my life crazier than it needed to be... FML

tshirt/stickers
Stickers were big hit last year, so I'm going to order more for this event! Make it more exciting is, I'm ordering 2 different designs!! You can choose which ones you want! I'll upload the design next week, so stay tune on that.

As for the tshirt, we'll be ordering the tshirt his week (expect to see the pre-order this week).

Saturday?
Now, a lot of you are wondering what's going on with Saturday, due to AutoX have been moved to Sunday instead of Saturday. We'll be doing Car & Coffee plus cruise and photoshoot! If you want some rolling photo of your car or if you want to take some rolling photo of FRS/BRZ, this will be the best time to do it! If we get enough FRS/BRZ it'll be awesome photos!!!!

UPDATE!

We had a lot more demand for 86EXPO stickers than I've expected, so this year, we've ordered more and made 2 different designs.

Stickers are limited to 30 each (total of 60 stickers).

Design 1 - Same kind of design as last year. But it's 2-color stickers (cuz we had high demand for 2-color stickers).

What are the hours of the event? I'm trying to make it as a part of my road trip from LA.

As for the hours of the event goes, we're still discussing the detail stuff, but we're hoping for this
Saturday 10am ~ 2:30pm
Sunday 10am ~ 4pm
