Actually, overcast is great weather for ideal lighting as all of the sunlight is diffused by the clouds to soften lights and shadows. That way you don't large objects like buildings throwing odd shadows over your subjects.

Oh, nice - I mostly meant with regards to the clouds portraying the typical gloomy Portland sky in your photos, but they still came out great :)

Yeah, gloomy portland skies. It's good for taking pictures with no professional gear. Diffusers and strobe lights can assist photographers in having good lighting in any sort of weather condition, the overcast weather actually allows for no requirement of such equipment. Which is great, because I don't own any of that stuff. lol!

Zoey (blond) was from out of town, but Janelle is actually out of Seattle. They were down in PDX for IFO, but they were in Seattle most of this last week.

The best I've seen was at the Paris Motor Show, although the scale is quite different than a local import meet.

I'll dig up some photos.

Chen 05-28-2015 12:14 AM

Man... I'm itching to shoot. I should of came and shot as well.

DoomsdayJesus 05-28-2015 02:19 AM

I gave them permission to get on. lol. I have a 2nd hood I bought from someone else. My current one has some dents from a run-in with a gravel truck. Same with my driver side fender.
