It's a new month and it's time to have our annual 86 Meet & Greet! This time around we will be having our first BBQ!!! Many of you have asked, now it's time to deliver!

We will go through our usual routine of meeting up before hand @ the Tacoma Mall Krispy Kreme @1230 and then roll out to the BBQ location! The location will be about 10 minutes away in Tacoma, and will be revealed as we get closer to the date! Im sure the area will meet everyone's approval and will cater to our needs:party0030:

For those who want to meet new faces or simply stop in for a bit and leave, that's fine! Please do not feel obligated to bring anything or stay for the entire time!

For those 86 enthusiasts who have been pushing to have a BBQ for the longest, I would like to ask for a commitment from you individuals to bring the needed items. Once that is met, we can bring other dishes and such!

Needed items! (3)volunteers for Meat, (1)Buns, (1)Plates/Utensils, (3)non-alcoholic beverages, (1)2 BBQ Grills are provided so the needed items to get the Grill started, (1) Chips!

Right now we will plan for 15-20 people to be eating and staying for the BBQ. If the number of confirmed people increase I will adjust this thread accordingly.

I don't expect anyone to spend more than $10 when bringing food items, but if you want to then thank you!

**As usual please "thank" the post to confirm attendance. ALSO, post what you would be bringing if you are staying for the BBQ!**

If no one is interested in the BBQ then we will still have our monthly Meet & Greet at the location!

Depends on if I get back from California in time. A certain trailer is carrying a certain item to a shop that weekend...

Hopefully my client will cancel so I won't have to be flying out to Atlanta that day. You guys gotta do meets on Saturdays occasionally!

I'm down for the meet and the bbq! I'll see if a friend is down too. Hopefully my trd springs and exhaust will be installed by then.

bbq at golden gardens park? you're able to reserve the little gazebo things or just 1st come 1st serve or just have a portable grill lol. (OH AND JUST HEADS UP THIS DAY IS ALSO DRIFTCON AT EVERGREEN SPEEDWAY)

I knew the DRIFTCON thing was on the same day and at the same time. Unfortunately I was limited with available dates with the area I reserved.

Still planning and hoping for a good turn out though :)

Hope to be there :) upgraded my turbo and will have all my body work done by then, looking forward to it

I am down for the meet and BBQ. I can bring a box of bags of chips from Costco and case of 24 bottles of water.

I'm down of course! But I am going camping that weekend, so hopefully I don't brake anything when I'm quadding and dirt biking around.
I'll bring whatever you need me to bring.

Im bringing burgers, hot dogs, sausage peppers and onion, deviled eggs and some sort of dessert

I'll bring chips and soda and ice and shtuff.

I'll bring some condiments and all the utensils. =D

wait, like made from scratch lumpia? the only lumpia i tried was terrible and i was told by my philipino friend that it was indeed terrible and i need to try the good stuff.

might have to come out for this when i find out how my sunday evening will work out.

Thanks to all those who are making the commitment early! It is greatly appreciated and makes planning a lot easier for me.

The location I have reserved is awesome. I'm sure all of you would approve. Good location and a nice area to set-up cars for some good pictures. There is also a gazebo for the Meet & Greet BBQ! Don't worry there is no gravel, dirt, or anything that would dirty our 86s! AND the area will cater to us lowered individuals.

That being said, I would like to push this meet for at least a 20 car commitment. Ideally, I would like 30-40 86 enthusiasts! If anything stop by, park, take a few pics, say hello!

I know the regular 86 attendees will be in full effect for the BBQ!

I will also be giving out some stickers to those that attend the BBQ and other meets!

I should be able to make it down south for the day....as long as the weather is dry ;)
If the weather is good enough for me to pull her out of the garage I can pick up any last minute food or anything that is needed. Just let me know.

I believe all the basic necessities needed for the BBQ have been covered! All those who committed to showing and bringing something please let me know if your plans change so I can adjust the thread accordingly!

All others who are also planning to attend the BBQ, feel free to bring whatever you want!

I will genuinely try to make this one. I've been lazy about making meets, and since I'm probably headed east at the end of the year I don't want to miss out. Every time I'm back in Philly I see practically no 86s.

Still waiting for someone to step up and take a cardboard cutout of me to the meet so I can "be there". I will pay you 2 fist bumps and 1 high five.
