2016 date
any idea of when the 16 model brz info will release? when did the 15's last year?
|
not 100% sure but dealer said they usually get them in August. But of course nothing is official until Subaru announces it. So basically, no clue.
|
Well we've heard that the 15 MY production has already stopped. They are most likely taking the time to retool the line for the 16 MY "changes". If memory serves the dealers usually have the option to start putting in orders for the new MY sometime in late May or early June. With deliveries happening very late June to July for some dealers.
I feel a bit obsessive here lately as the first thing I do every morning is run a few searches looking for any new info on MY 16 production. At this point it's just a waiting game until Subaru says it's happening. |
They started production of the 15's on May 7th last year, and we haven't heard anything officially yet, so I'd guess later this time around...

You can search for "2016" too...

Just for shits and giggles here is my Nobel prize nominee for fiction.

I'll be getting a '16 too.

Asked my dealer (from whom I'm still waiting for my 2015 Limited to arrive) about the 2016:
"As of right now, there is no information on the 2016's in my Subarunet site and I'm still able to order the 2015's. Last year, we were notified in the middle of May about the pricing on the cars but, if it's like the WRX, first they discontinue the ordering on the various trim levels on the 2015's and then, a while later, cease all ordering, and then they issue the new pricing." |
just checked my subarunet and they wont be arriving at dealerships til the end of the year, possibly starting in september. they're also making a convertible version for the 16 and there is talk of going awd for the 17's

uh, what? and RDJ's first name is spelled Robert, not Robbert. Not sure if it was on purpose or not. |
