Web Tracking Information.

G'Day All ....

Now that we are seeing some Web Tracking info coming out for orders, I thought we could start a thread with where people's cars are up too and date you ordered.

I got my order in on 6th of June, but I haven't got my User Code or Password as yet !! :sigh:

Nardi330 06-15-2012 04:30 AM

How do you know its finished?

Did the section with VIN, engine number, compliance plate date, build date update??? :O

Nardi330 06-15-2012 05:38 AM

No I don't know if it's finished. It just said its being built today which matches what my sales told me back in April!!

davey90 06-15-2012 06:02 AM

i swear there was another thread for web tracking...ah well!

Ok cool. Only wondering because there's a slight difference between was built and being built :happy0180:

Nardi330 06-15-2012 06:30 AM

Yeah but they build at least 100 cars a day so I'd imagine if it's being built today it would have been built by now....

Ako 06-15-2012 06:36 AM

My tracking is now showing as "Ready for transport" with an estimated pick up date of 1/7/2012. It's also got VIN and engine# listed.

I placed an order on the Easter weekend in April. The dealer (Lander at Blacktown) had two cars in their initial shipment - one being a White GT MT, which I put my name on straight away.

spiller 06-17-2012 08:36 PM

So, I spoke with my delaer just this morning and they STILL dont have any information as to when I will be receiving my car. I asked her directly if she had placed an order for me and she said "Yeah!, we're just waiting for an allocation from Toyota". Her voice was shakey and she was talking very quicky, as if she was telling me untruths or something. I dont understand, if they have placed an order, shouldnt they already know when my car will be built and when it will be here?

It sounds to me more like they are waiting to miraculously be given a car in the same spec that I want, rather than ordering a car specifically for me. Someone who knows what they're talking about...should I be worried?

Nardi330 06-17-2012 08:49 PM

spiller, i would go down there asap and ask to speak to the stock controller directly.

@spiller,

Nardi330 is right. Also ask them to provide you with a web tracking login details as soon as they receive the details, so you can track your car's progress.

Speaking of which! What is the system saying for those expecting their cars this month? Are they at the docks yet? :O

I was alluding to this, but she kind of cut me off in her nervous fit. I didnt want to say "a bunch of people on the internet have web tracking info, where is mine" but this is bullshit, I paid 2 weeks ago. Im calling her again this afternoon.

Nardi330 06-17-2012 09:34 PM

i think calling won't get you too far. just go over to sort it out face to face!!

Hahaha. Same. But according to our dealer, I'm getting my car late July so it could be accurate. (If they build early July)

spiller 06-17-2012 09:51 PM

I know, I wont have the opportunity to go in until Wednesday though :(. Its really pissing me off, I just think if they had the info, they would give it to me, which leads me to believe they havent even ordered me a car.

Nardi330 06-17-2012 09:54 PM

if that's the case, keep bugging them until you can go over on Wednesday.

yeah, if you talk over the phone, she'll find a way to avoid the conversation. You got her name, so when you're free. Head up to the dealership and ask to speak to her directly, if she's no good. Then ask for someone that is willing to help like a manager or supervisor. Hopefully she ain't the manager. LOL!

i ordered mine late Feb, there was someone else before me but I think they pulled out, the dealer said I was second to place an order, now i'm 1st?

Doesn't matter where we stand anyway, ours are on the way! I hope... lol! :party0030:

You're right it doesn't matter. I've got a date, and that's good enough.

Nardi330 06-17-2012 10:16 PM

the order in line is not too important unless you are ordering the very same spec with the people in front of you.

spiller 06-17-2012 10:21 PM

yeah my dealer tells me I am top of the list. I dont need my car in any great hurry, when I paid the deposit, I was told it could be 4 months (which I dont mind because im going overseas for 6 weeks next month anyway. I do, however, want some sort of confirmation that my deposit has been worth while, and so that I can be prepared for when I will receive the car. The lady im dealing with is a "fill-in". Not good!

Nardi330 06-17-2012 10:21 PM

the small parts i ordered from Japan are being shipped and i have an extra tracking to follow.....

spiller 06-17-2012 11:25 PM

Ok, so i just called them back again and spoke with their "aftermarket" guy who has also ordered an 86 for himself, he's a good guy and was very helpful. By the sounds of it, the "fill-in" who I spoke with has very limited knowlede of the protocol. A car has in fact been allocated and the build date is 15th September. I guess that would mean delivery around late October.

This is good for me, im just glad that I know my car is on its way!

Toy86 06-17-2012 11:38 PM

So I guess my question is, When you go to the web tracking page it asks you for a Code and password???? where do I get this... I have a car on order, I have a batch number but thats about it? My dealer is going to look into it for me, but obviously from reading a few of you guys have already got past this screen

Can anyone shed any light

Nardi330 06-17-2012 11:38 PM

good outcome. did he give you tracking info?
