One of the Jalopnik comments said those rims look like whales' anuses. I LOL'd.

Not a fan of oversized wheels or the whole cambered stance thing. Not of fan of things that make performance worse in general.

Reminds me of some guys at work that own 2nd hand bimmers with huge staggered chrome rims and really low profile tires. And somehow they pay a lot of money for those 30lb + monstrosities. It goes with the big gold chain and the stupid Nike Air shoes with the laces open.

I have noticed that the white ones tend to travel in packs. Never seem to see just one.

They're probably "lease to own" wheels from some place where "your job is your credit." Those places usually lease the tires too and charge the customers four times what they would pay for the same rubber at WalMart.

The one in the background belongs to a buddy of mine. It's actually pretty nice, sitting on coilovers and Ambit RS18 wheels. We had a laugh about it, since he made it onto Jalopnik, but for the wrong reasons. :lol:

But please kindly do it with Civic or Dodge Neon and leave our beautiful 86's alone.

Nazi's loved wheels, so that may not be the best term. "Wheel Fascist" may be more appropriate. And it's not about the wheels themselves, it's the overall look. The wheels may be "nice" by definition, but it makes the car look like ass as a whole. Like has been said, we all more than support the effort to do whatever, we also reserve the right to point and laugh at the result. Appearance is totally subjective, but somethings are just nasty regardless.

ETA: WTF has happened to Jalopnik? It's become the DU of cars.
