Entry fees are the same last year!
$30 per entry per event for non-members,
$20 per entry per event for TLMC members.

There will be 7 regular events. Points are awarded only at events where membership is valid and will not be awarded retroactively.

You can become a TLMC member HERE.

More than one driver may be registered per car. (Be sure to arrive early enough so registration can space out the drivers more easily.) Drivers are not allowed to compete in more than one car.

All helmets MUST meet the criteria outlined HERE.

All competitors are expected to marshal during the event.

All cars must have a number clearly displayed on both sides of the car.

Two driver cars should only have one number visible while on course.

If sharing a car, each driver must register and pay separately. Please make sure the shared vehicle is shown on both drivers' MotorsportReg.com profile/garage.

The Event and/or Series Organizers have the right to refuse entry or disqualify a competitor from competition for any reason. Decisions of the organizers are final.

Post away with your questions!

Registration is now Open for the May 10th Event!

The number of 86's that come out to our events are starting to rival the number of Miatas so I hope to see more. Despite the fact that I drive a Miata. :bellyroll:

Looks good! Registered for this one as well.

Going to be a busy summer!

Agree! It doesn't help that summer is too short in this country.

If you haven't been before, TLMC puts on a great series of AutoX events. Always a fast, fun and challenging course, in a great lot.

And my husband is taking his station wagon lol

Gonna be fun!

that_guy 05-07-2015 09:08 PM

See you guys there! Steve, I'll try to get there early to help you setup.

That would be awesome. We are a bit short handed for the first event.

Skurj 05-08-2015 08:48 PM

Its a great event space, good for the spectators too. Looking forward to Sunday!

brzr 05-15-2015 08:18 PM

i sooooo slow

so upset my husband beat me in his silly station wagon by 0.1 seconds

brzr 05-15-2015 08:21 PM

i also kept telling him i should be in sc, but he put us both in stx because he can't be in sc

should i switch from stx next time?

does it matter?

drewbot 05-15-2015 10:34 PM

@brzr if you're still with OEM everything you can be in C street

drewbot 05-15-2015 10:35 PM

Also, it looks like I've scored enough gf points that I can come out this season!

bring her along :)

drewbot 05-18-2015 02:31 PM

@brzr your final scoring is calculated differently between either class (I think). Looking at the results each class gets a different modifier. So if your car is 100% stock, CS will yield you faster overall adjusted times than STX (?). If you're just out for fun, neither really matters

drewbot 05-18-2015 02:33 PM

Also, I don't think she'll wanna come, any force that is felt that is greater than street driving she starts to scream haha

the trick is to not bring any stuff :)

keep an extra pair of socks in the glove box and wear flip flops when marshaling.

Ooo that's an idea.. its up to 80% for the day, may as well just wear swim trunks and flip flops for the day and bring my towel!

Sigh.. was lookin forward to it, but the rain is going to scare me off..

I'll make the next one, if it shines

brzr 06-19-2015 11:28 PM

hm
80% with risk of thunderstorms

will it still be on?

i guess i'll be wearing my rain boots for marshaling

7thgear 06-20-2015 12:15 AM

I definitely hope it will be on

if few people show up it means a quick turn-around time and lots of practice runs

perfect chance to practice your fine sensory skills and throttle control

I'm so sad brian and I couldn't make it today

And the weather is perfect too!

Guess we'll have to wait till August for our next autocross

7thgear 06-21-2015 06:01 PM

what a day!

clear skies, ~80 competitors, 8 runs each, finished before 3, cray!

7thgear 06-26-2015 02:57 PM

my helmet cam (until I get my normal setup up and running)

1st in class (c-stock) 8th overall.

was 5ths until last runs, then a few peeps squeaked by, including an STX BRZ by like 0.02s or something.

Ok, sorry for the double post on 2 threads
@7thgear how did you affix your action cam to your helmet, and does it get it in way and is it safe?

>how did you affix your action cam to your helmet

standard go-pro mount, you can buy a bag of curved and flat mounts from ebay for cheap and just stick em anywhere

>does it get it in way

I see the go-pro's outline just a bit, I specifically wanted to mount it as close to the eye-line as possible for proper perspective, when you're dealing with distortion as a result of super wide angles you want to be as centered as possible

but it's fine, once I'm going I forget about it and focus on what's ahead

>is it safe

in a perfect universe a helmet which can catch on to stuff is more accident prone than otherwise....

but I'm a stock car with a roof over my head, I don't see it as a problem

Frost 07-06-2015 06:56 PM

Anyone here going to the event on the 19th?

I'm considering it - would love to meet up with some forum members!

Frost
