Body Kits and Exhaust

I was looking around for some body kits and obviously there are the rocket bunny kits, but i recently discovered the aimgain aero kit and i think it looks sick. Does anyone have preferences? When I was looking at the aimgain one though it had a bar across the grill and i was wondering if that's part of the kit or just the stock from the GT86&BRZ becauseI know the FRS doesn't have it.

Also titanium exhaust vs stainless steel/other materials??

Thank Youu!

I personally think all aftermarket body kits are horrid. Better to go with what you prefer, and not ask for other's opinions.

Tromatic 04-27-2015 07:07 PM

OM F-ing God, this is the nastiest thing I've ever seen. Rocket Bunny has finally been dethroned. Bet they sell a ton of them.

Won't be long until we have rivets along the roofline.

ETA: Farewell, fellow 86-er's. I leave you now to rip out my eyes in a vain attempt to unsee this thing. OP, good luck. If you go with this, you will have truly, ah, unique, vehicle. "Sick" is the word.

ETA again: OP, if that's your Instagram, it would look totally horrid for such a beautiful woman to be seen in that thing.

Considering this has been around nearly as long as the rocket bunny I doubt it.

Ahh, typing with one eye. First I'd seen of this monstrosity. Seriously, OP, don't do it. I'm not just putting this one down to age on my part, either.

It's obvious this is your first time owning a Japanese car with a wide aftermarket support base in Japan.

Kits like these are very typical of what comes out of Japan. Give it 10 more years, you'll wish there was some black market eye replacement surgery to help you out after you've ripped out your eyes 10 more times...

Not bad!

Ashikabi 04-27-2015 10:49 PM

And the haters are here! Seriously guys don't you have some prostates to massage or something?

OP, do whatever you think is best. You'll get no support on the subject of body kits or lowering your car on any coils other than Ohlins or KW.

Personally I prefer rocket bunny to aimgain, not a fan of that 1. There are other options, some crazy expensive(Varis) but awesome

Ah yes. Come out swinging calling people haters and then follow up with hating on them for their choices! That makes things go smoother.
The skeptic in me says we will never see another post from the OP anyway but I have been wrong before (so far I am at about 16 to 2 so my intuition has been pretty accurate).

Ashikabi 04-27-2015 11:14 PM

Their choice to abuse people on the internet for not doing things their way? Yeah I have a problem with that. If you want to run KW and not go low or get a kit, that's fine. Just don't come into a thread and be all "OMG the car is ruined now body kits are for ricer ***s." The first page has 4 of like 7 posts of people bashing the Aimgain kit or body kits in general. If you can't say something productive then don't say anything

Kiske 04-27-2015 11:17 PM

Varis or bust! Wide or non!

Ashikabi 04-27-2015 11:19 PM

If you want to say you think not getting a kit is the best idea that's fine, just be respectful

Ashikabi 04-27-2015 11:29 PM

Or were you talking about the prostate massaging? Cuz I don't have a problem with gays so long as they are honest with themselves

MikeyBatz 04-27-2015 11:30 PM

So you want it to look more like a Lexus? Fine, go for it.

Know what kind of people say shit like that?

Ashikabi 04-28-2015 08:17 AM

People who aren't afraid of people who are different?

WRONG! IT'S QUEER ASS NON MURICAN AL QAEDA LOVIN TURISTS!

but in his defense this kit is terrible looking. You ask for opinions and you will get them, some won't always be warm and fuzzy.

The hypocrisy of your responses is overwhelming as you break every rule you say others should follow. It is a forum and opinions and the methods of expressing them will and do differ.

At this point I still maintain that the OP asked the questions simply to get the responses that it has created anyway and unless there is a response from them soon the whole thread should just be deleted as trolling anyway.

Ashikabi 04-28-2015 09:52 AM

I don't agree with what this person is saying... I'll just say it's hypocritical, then their argument will be invalid! Good job dude. You've managed to denounce all of my posts, prove you know how to quote posts, and offer no counter argument all at once. Now that we all know how super smart and clever you are... let's get some reasons why my reasoning is hypocritical and why being a douche on the internet is somehow "ok"

I didn't see any abuse in any of posts. He expressed a very strong opinion about an ugly body kit. Not once did he call the OP a "ricer" or any other name. Is there a problem with having strong opinions about a "thing", and if so, does it mean you are "hating" on someone who see's it differently? If that were the case I would have never married my wife because she likes broccoli and I can't stand the stuff. Turn down the sensitivity knob a notch or two, after all the OP did ask for opinions.

The very fact that you continue to do it is supporting evidence unto itself.

Ashikabi 04-28-2015 09:58 AM

Oh how clever of you. Check mate, guess you win again. I just can't compete with the"red highlight"

Oh you married one of those "broccoli types too? I don't know how I have managed for all these years. The constant "you should try it cooked like this. You will like it" nagging wears you down.

Exact same thing I was thinking. If the goal is to look like a IS go for it. Personally I think stock front end looks better than this but to each is own

If the goal is to look like an IS, buy a fucking IS.

This is no different from putting a Ferrari body kit on a Fiero and congratulating yourself on how "sick" it looks. It outs you as a poser.

Pretty sure that broccoli, cauliflower and asparagus are not actually even from this planet! There is a strong probability that people are eating some very advanced but extremely slow aliens.

Where is this Ferrari body kit you speak of???? I really wanted a Ferrari, not a BRZ... but couldn't afford one! :slap:

The body kit is easy. It is getting the Fiero to put under it that is the challenge! Guy in my neighborhood has one but it won't fool anybody that actually knows (especially when he starts it and it sounds like a sewing machine)

The Aimgain fenders don't flow as nicely as the Rocket Bunny V1 fenders IMO.
