Weathertech second row floormat

Hello, has anyone have bought this yet? If yes, can you take a pic of it please? Thank you!

ARTBRZ 04-20-2015 08:10 PM

IMO it's a waste of money. Get the front and use that money to get an armrest.

Choco 04-20-2015 08:38 PM

When did this come out?!! I just bought a different brand rear row mats cause I thought weathertech didn't have it. :(

I don't think it's a waste of money - i got tired of waiting for weathertech to make them that i bought the 3d MAXpider 2nd row which i'm very happy with. way better than the tiny factory mats.

gramicci101 04-20-2015 09:14 PM

Does anyone use the rear seat for actually seating people? Both of my front seats are backed up against the rear seat, so rear floor mats would be pointless.

That being said, 3D Maxpider makes nice floor mats. Less slippery than Weathertechs. My only gripe is the logo that's riveted on.

I bought the 3d max spider. I actually frequently have rear passengers, so it is a must have for me.

Turbowned 04-20-2015 09:33 PM

You have back seat passengers? How? lol

Chad11491 04-20-2015 10:08 PM

I don't see how anything could fall between the nonexistent gap between my front/rear seats. Meh.

iarefluffy 04-20-2015 10:12 PM

fuck you @shiumai now i want some dim sum.

It is possible. Especially when you're young and your friends don't have wheels.

Cleaning the backseat of this car is a bitch though.

It's called having kids and friends.

It helps when I'm a small person and most of my friends also small/short too. :)

Turbowned 04-21-2015 12:32 AM

Yeah, my girlfriend and I are both north of 6' tall, so that doesn't work for us and this car, lol

My 7-yr old son sits in the back so rear floor mats are necessary.

Well this is just a lie. Everyone knows there are no girls on the internet.

Seriously though that makes sense, small driver with short friends....I can see getting four people (maybe not comfortably or for long periods) into this car.

Not necessarily. My first thought was "I wonder how many small Asian girls you could stack inside an FRS, and would you need to play circus music as they all climbed out?"

miosaki 04-21-2015 01:41 PM

I think it's really recent that Weathertech came out with the rear floor mats.
They were having a sale last week(?) it was the complete set (2 front, 2 rear) for $120++. Not bad at all.
The deal may still be happening, go check it out. :)

Marcoscrdo 04-21-2015 01:54 PM

Hory shet so the rears are out? amg bought.

I fixed my post. lol

I actually take my car with my friends on long car rides. lol They never seem to have too much problems with that.

Remember most guys on the internet are harmless. They're more afraid of you than you are of them. ;)

I'm always slightly afraid to talk to pretty girls...assuming @miosaki and @Choco are pretty. I'm trying to give them the benefit of the doubt :p

Which is funny because a lot of girls that I've been friends with in the past who are very pretty always complain that most guys don't approach them because of their looks. Then there are the ones who do approach them and they are complete douche nozzles....but that's a different discussion altogether. It's funny in a sad kind of way how that happens.

It's kinda true.. sad reality.

What's most annoying are the guys who roll down the window and whistle at your from their cars. Who in their right mind thinks that's flattering?!
I'm not going to look at you and smile if you're whistling, from a Camry nonetheless....

Back on topic, went to weathertech site and the deal isn't going on anymore.
Womp.

I know right? Because cat calls are always the "best" way to get a ladies attention. What made me laugh even harder was the Camry. Mainly because I've seen it happen....repeatedly.

Anyway I'm done thread jacking. Nothing to see here folks.

Hurry up and take your dog out on a photo shoot with the car!

Special_K 04-22-2015 07:18 PM

Yea yea yea, we all want to marry Choco, old news, get in line...

But that's not why I'm here! Any of you guys know of a trunk liner that also covers the rear seats when they're down? My rears are always folded since my pup is my driving buddy and that's his preferred spot to see/smell all the action. Not normally a problem but every once in a while he gets muddy and cleaning the backs of those seats is a bitch.

I doubt most trunk liners are going to cover the rear seats. I could be wrong, but I think that would be a logistical nightmare. Does the part that covers the seats fold under the liner or is it removable? Your best bet would be either a decent blanket that you can fold under the seats when flat and long enough to extend into the trunk to be anchored some way.

I feel like I vaguely remember Scion Canada having a cargo liner that also mounted to the rear of the seats. I'm just not sure if that ever came to fruition and Scion.ca has a terrible search function.
