Any e85?
What's the difference between e85 and 91 gas? Ever since I got my car I been using 91 which is recommended, but recently I been hearing to use e85 that it makes a difference in a good way compare to 91, if there's a difference can you guys help out find a gas station in the area of La Puente, West Covina, El Monte or Arcadia? Thanks for the help guys!

You need a tune to run e85. You can search up e85 stations through google close to where you live. http://www.ethanolretailer.com/flex-fuel-station-finder |
Cheapest way to run e85 is with the Open Flash Tablet.

Not the cheapest...

Much better to invest in an OFT tablet though. I bought one used and I still think it's the best purchase I made today. E85 + UEL header with no CEL is gonna be so much fun. And launch control is kinda cool too haha.

yes, the best is ecutek with flex fuel...

I think before too long the open source world will catch up with ecutek with map switching and flex fuel. Being an IT Director that runs a Linux based network you can know that I am all about open source. For now in order of cheapest to best, it's tactrix, OFT, Ecutek. Jaden |

I bought it used and flashed my stage 1 map which is the most basic flash... So I can assume so

ECUTek is worth every penny. Let's be realistic here, you shouldn't be going cheap when it comes to something as important as tuning your car's ECU. That's like running RAID0 on a production MySQL server. |
not exactly...

Jaden ECUTek may very well be worth the money, but I don't like the idea of being locked out of anything I work on. Nor of paying for something I can't resell if I so choose. |

I'm not going to add more power to my car until I hit 2:06 at Buttonwillow with my current set up, so it's still a year or two away. But I definitely want to add a header and tune in the future. Just want some more spiciness to the powerband staying N/A. Not too interested in boosting it. And thought OFT/OFH combo was really a good bang for the buck set up. |

OFT is GREAT and is the way you should go should you want to put a better tune/e85 tune on your car.

Agree. If you are staying NA oft is the way to go.
