86 Mega Meet "name" help!
 

Hey Guys/Gals! Looking for some creativity and some help!

I have been tasked to come up with an official name for the meet. Something that is unique and ours.

This meet is happening because you the community have supported the monthly meets and the local 86 events! So why not have YOU be apart of naming the event!

So please post your ideas!

Rules are it would be nice to have "86" in it, but not a requirement. Consider that this is a meet for the FRS/BRZ platform.

Cant break any copyright or trademarks

The best "name" will be used on the flyers and the "86" shirt that participating enthusiasts will receive.

I think you should call it:

"PNW Hachiroku Owner's Day" and put that in Japanese on the back w/English on the front.

Am I the only one that kinda liked 86 mega meet(s)..? We could throw PNW in there too.

I actually had "86 PNW Mega Meet" in the original thread title, but "PNW 86 Mega Meet" sounds good too!

No I like it I was just saying it a certain way. Like I like it but if y'all are going to shoot it down and break my little heart then I don't like it... lmao on a shirt it could have a big 86 in the background or the little piston thing on our fenders and have PNW Mega Meet under or around it. Just my two cents.

Maybe a little Powered by Toyota of Olympia on the back with '2015' in smaller print.

I've been thinking on the lines of the known successful PNW car meets: E30 Picnic, Old School Reunion, etc. Not sure we need to tie this to PNW in the name of the meet. Keep it simple. If the meet is a success, the name will become a brand, like 86 Expo in Vegas, for example.

My thoughts:
86 Sessions (you know, PNW is known for music, and we might have a band there too)
86 Rendezvous

Will keep thinking on this.

How about Cascadia 86 Mega Meet

Since the meet will be in Olympia, at least this year, I was thinking Olympics. As for the name, I was thinking 86 Conference. For a design we could use a mock up of the Olympic Rings logo. Make the first two interlocked rings an 8, the next two the 6, and the last one the C for conference. I'm no good at photoshop so someone would have to mock it up, but it was just an idea that I figured I'd throw out there.

"Conference" resonates nicely. Alliterative Cascadia Conference. Somehow with big interlocking Cs. Dunno. Just sticking it out there for fodder.

Came up with these as well; PNW 86 Life, PNW 86 Culture, PNW 86 Lifestyle. We could always take out the "PNW" part.

I think there was mention of Scion Corp bringing in some show quality Hachirokus.

The twins have definitely cause a love/hate rift between hachi owners and the twins. Some hachi owners are totally up in arms that Toyota would dare use the 86 nameplate for this newer platform.
