Building my Zex Bottled FRS
 

Got my 2014 FRS back in March 2014 and have enjoy every single minute with it. During last year and the beginning of 2015 have done some changes to it like carbon fiber Seibon hood and trunk, black housing headlights and turning signals, some purple led to show of the Zex nitrous bottle setup in the trunk, Trick Performance window switch, Borla UEL headers 2.5" uppipe and 2.75 midpipe and catback, Airaid CAI, 770cc FIC Injectors and DW65C fuel pump will be install soon as well as a ACT Clutch To hold the extra WHP and Torque. Will be running e85 to help me reach or get close to my 300whp goal on bottle tune on Ecutek.

Now I know how these cars are holding over 500whp as I have friends making that power on boost but I just wanted something different there are not many FrS/BRZ on bottle I also know why so don't even bother telling me my engine will blow or that I'm wasting the same amount of money as a turbo or SC cuz no I'm not even by a 1/4 of what it will have cost to go that other route. So just enjoy the pictures and leave good comments on don't leave any at all 😉

Personally not a bottle fan. The whole business of filling bottles up and heating them up on race day. Subscribed though because not many people are going this route on the FA20 so I'm curious. Good Luck Bro!

More info on the nitrous system!

The Nitrous system consist of a Zex Single fogger Wet kit activated by WOT TPS signal using a Trick Performance window switch that has gear lock also. I should be spraying between a 75 to a 125 shot depending what is safe most likely just a 75 tho.

So it's not fully installed yet? Pics or details of install? Or maybe a video? that would great! :w00t:

not sure if this will work with the oem intake manifold. you might blow some welds

Needs new wheels to really set it off. Get rid of the fugly stock wheels.

Awesome, Love to see nitrous, I'm a fan. Add in a nice final drive upgrade and you'll have a nice driving car with more punch at the flip of a switch.

Some more pics of the 770CC FIC Injectors and window switch still waiting on the fuel pump tho. The window switch is not active as this is just a test fit.

NOS, window stickers, mismatched body panels, body kit, neons, you name it you got it bro. Reminds me of my Civic when I was prob your age lol. Prob about 15 years ago tho.

When you get the kit up and running will there be any chance you can get some runs on video (of speedo, etc) while spraying?

Not big on the hood, but I dig the rest. Grab some wheels with a little lip or dish and you're in business.

Yea I don't love the hood but it came as a bundle with the trunk so I grab it and I know wheels and drop is a must But money is tight at the moment lol

Yes that's for sure!!! I have a couple of videos racing a teams am ls1, an ap1 s2000 and a gst when I was sorting a 75 wet shot stock other then the headers if I find them I will post them up

Have you made any changes to the tune?

Car is untune :( waiting on the clutch to be able to tune in e85 and a 75 wet shot or maybe even 100 shot if the car can handle it safely

I don' t think he was hating on your thread I think he was just explaining why it was a flash back basically we were all running our imports like that in the 90's and early 00's that's all. Nothing wrong with it in fact its refreshing to see someone build their car up that way to me its nostalgic to some of the best times I had around cars. Curious to see what kind of numbers you put up, cool idea

If I didnt already spend so much on boost I would be right there with you on a bottle.

I would of love to boost my frs but since is warranty is not over till the 100k and is my daily decided to just give the bottle a try and trust me is fun ppl don't expect it at all and think your just bolt until you pass them lol

Been caught up and haven't had time to work on the baby, finally got to finish the harness for the window switch just missing the tach signal. Hopefully soon it will get done lol.
