Jav's Stormtrooper - 2014 Whiteout FRS

After 3-4 years of dreaming about owning an FR-S, I finally stopped procrastinating and purchased mine on March 14, 2015. I bought a used white 2014 with 8k miles. My intentions were to get a manual 2014 monogram series, however this was the only manual FR-S within a 700 miles radius.

Finding a theme I could work/live with was pretty challenging. I decided to go with a Stormtrooper. Which I am also working on my AE86 “Tie Fighter”.

Most of my initial mods will be small budget items and DIYs. Once I get another job aside from being in the Air Force and can gather more funds, I’ll start dropping larger mods. I also apologize for the iPhone pics and rookie photographer skills, one day I'll have a real camera and some decent skills lol.

Another fairly easy mod. It took me around 15-20 mins.

Just for future reference, you can order just the cover from the dealer for ~$10 a pop and have a genuine Toyota cover, but at least you have an extra set of buttons now ;)

what are the zip ties for?

they are holding the hid ballasts in place.

thanks!. & to be honest it's actually a faint blue hue. i only got it cause i felt risky & wanted to go with something different with than bright white.

I really disliked the fake carbon fiber interior so i decided to wrap the interior white. I was also inspired by @636 and wanted to have a stormtrooper "embedded" with the wrap. this is the render i used:

it took me a few weeks to figure out what i wanted to add to the dash because it looked too simple. so i decided to get a sticker made from carstickers. i received my order on May 22nd.
