Im currently on the waiting list for my FR-S, I wanted to know, for those who already have theirs, how long did it take before you got your car? and How long should I expect to wait for mine?...

Depending on your dealers allocation and your color preference, it can take from one week to months.

How far down are you on your dealer's list?

I was one of the first 86 so i got my car weeks before the official launch

No list just Checked inventory in my area by checking autotrader. Walked in and picked mine up same day.

I didn't even buy the car from the dealership I pre-ordered at. I just called around on 5/31 asking dealers if they were getting the car and I happen to luck out when I called the dealership I did purchase from as they were unloading it from the truck. I rushed over right away and got it. I had a better buying experience than I would have with my original dealership I ordered from.

From sending out dealer inquiries to pickup on 5/30 -- about a week. Which one do you need. Search autotrader.com, don't need to wait actually.

I was never on any list. I just kept checking edmonds.com inventory until they started showing up. 06/03 the exact car I wanted showed up at my local dealer (Raven MT FR-S). I didn't actually get to the dealer until the 6th, but as everyone else wanted the auto, it was still there. Happily drove away after 3 hours of signing paperwork. As a plus, my local dealer ended up being pretty good compared to some of the stories I've heard :)

The dealer actually said they gave the first one to my friend and delivers to pre-order guys later. Perhaps they think they've sold those anyway. And it did work. I get called from another dealer later the same day.

Put a deposit down 5/24, purchased car 5/31, so a week.

I pre-ordered a 2013 5.0 mustang, went to pick it up (from the same dealership I bought my 2010 from) and they tried to charge me an extra 3k. I left the same day and went to 3 different scion dealers. I gave my info, and the dealer called me back the next day when it came off the truck.

The rest is history

no wait for me, walked in saw a few FR-S a few sold, 2 still for sale, test drove one, then bought it same night.

Pre-ordered mine in February and received it in June 5. FYI Canadian.

I just remember they came out on June 1. Went to the dealership June 2just to see if they had anyone and drove off with one. Best bet is to check dealership around ur area every other week or weekend

Ordered an Asphalt MT late May. Initial estimate was mid-late July. Got a call last week it would be August at the earliest (boooo). I Searched on auto trader and found an Asphalt MT 1.5 hours away in the boonies. They were nice enough to hold it and I picked it up the next day.

Chip, I'm in cali and am still waiting too :( I reserved on 5/15 and am still waiting.

I called around for a few days and got lucky - found one where the original purchaser backed out of the deal.

I am the 4th person on the waiting list for my Asphalt frs. I put a deposit down about 2 weeks ago.

It seems everyone got theirs pretty fast, I guess Ill call my dealer and ask them. Thanks for help everyone.

flameSniper: I know dude, I ordered mine about 2 weeks ago, I hate the wait, seems like forever. What color did you get it in? Are you going to use it as your everyday car?

I'm also getting Asphalt but an AT. Which dealership are you going with? I'm with Longo.

My car won't be for my everyday commute, just on the weekends since I carpool for work.

Order placed 3/10. Received 5/27.

You need to run around to all the dealers in your area until you get one. I went to 3 Subi and 4 Scion before I found one (and it was actaully just an allocation so I still have 6 or 7 days to wait).

I have been talking to Ryan Tsai and I believe Jeff Chang is the other scion rep that has posted on here as well. They actually told me I was 4th on the list, do they have us mixed up? :( They're still waiting on their 2nd allocation, and I haven't heard from them since last week.

Preordered with longo around mid April. They said estimated date was for 6/11 but now it's pushed back a week or so..

There are two factors, your color choice and when you got on the list. Someone could have gotten on the list after you and if the color they wanted came first and they were next up for that color, they would beat you to a car.

Auto trader has a lot of old adds. No updated I have called a few dealers all was sold so they not so realible

I ordered mine from Toyota of Torrance
On 5/18 picked it up 6/9. Only mt available of 5 in their allocation. All sold already

Put on list: 12/16
Placed deposit: 3/22
Received vin#: 4/20
Bought the car: 5/31

That's true. Then you probably need to email every dealer, as what I have done.

I got mine on Memorial day. No pre order just knew they where coming in that day and had a salesman that I had met the week before call me. Called at 6 PM and said the truck just dropped a Raven AT off and they where washing it. I jumped in the car and went down and bought it. They tried to add a $1795 in add ons but I ended up with the car at sticker. I paid $27,000 for the baddest go cart I've ever driven. Took it to the Santa Monica mountains this weekend and had a total blast.

Is Longo the only dealership thats taking long to get their shipments? or is it all dealerships?

I keep getting told, call back in a week or call back in two weeks. Now they're just saying some time July. This all started just over four weeks ago.

I work at a Scion dealership in RI and my vehicle is ordered and will be here 3-4th week of july =\

I do have an Auto Raven FRS on the showroom however if anyone is in the area and interested =)

Not to thread jack, but I do not recall the exact thread. It was one of the signature threads for sure though. I just modified the Argento image provided.

I just asked me salesman when their shipment is coming, they said they don't know, they're still waiting too...
