Dirtfish - Subaru BRZ

I got the opportunity to go to DirtFish rally school in Snoqualmie, WA. I spent three days learning all the skills needed to control a BRZ on gravel and slippery surfaces. I don't own a BRZ, but after this I am looking to buy one. The car was a blast to drive.

Didn't know they've got BRZs.
They've always had WRXs on the school info.

Good job!

i believe they got brz's just before this years red bull global rally cross race.. at least right before they cut to commercial breaks, they had one guy doing donuts in a dirtfish-wrapped brz during the event..

This looks awesome. I think I just figured out what I'll use my airline miles for.

Thanks for sharing.

I used miles and hotel points for my trip. The best use of miles ever!

Wow, this looks really fun. I just spent the last 15 minutes on their website. I might have to take a plane out there this summer.

Thanks for posting about this!

Just ran across a video of Bucky Lasek racing Matt Farah at this place. Saw they had rally prepped BRZs. Damn. Reviews all look solid. Also a filming location for Twin Peaks. Anyways, I never had a "bucket list" before but now I do and this is #1 on the list. :)

Wow. Thanks for that!

That's in my neck of the woods. Might need to get some buddies together and give it a go..!

There are roads in the Wenatchee/Chelan area just like that where I thrashed my first car in similar fashion, a '77 Celica coupe. As inferior as the solid rear axle was, that torquey little 20r and four speed gearbox were more than enough to flood my undeveloped 18yo brain with endorphins. :)

My little Scion is my daily and I like it too much to do that to it.

Well, it took me almost 2 years to get there...but I went. So fun. Totally worth it. Highly recommended!

I completed the 3 day rear wheel drive school last week and it was great! It exceeded my expectations in every way!

The cars are well prepared, the instructors are great and the facility is really nice too. The video looks really fun, but doing it for real is even better! The area is really cool too, great hiking and mountain biking with giant waterfall nearby. Also some really good food, a micro-brewery and wine bar in town too (the school is only about a 5 minute drive from town).

It took me a year to decide to spend the $$$ to do this, but I am already planning a return trip for the advanced school next summer.
