Toyota 86 TV/ Cinema Ad for Australia
 

A little birdy has told me that Toyota Australia will be using this ad with a different logo at the end "Oh what a feeling" instead of the "moving forward" and the June 18th release date as of next week.

What do you think?

I'm really not sure what image/message that advert is trying to get across. If you dress like the Stig you can out drive industrial laser cutters? I hope so because in my day to day driving I often have to deal with these which is why my car has all these cuts through it.

Somehow the Australian government allow car companies to use add on, features that will not be standard or even allowed to be purchased in the Australian media for the car... ie. 3 door Golf R, HID on lower spec cars... all because they have the small font saying "over seas model shown" IT DRIVES ME NUTS!!!

remember the pulled thunder ute ads, the aforementioned swift and and the artist BMW Z4 ad were promptly pulled....

Laser beams... I gather this is for cinema only.

High powered laser beams are not only very dangerous, but extreamly energy inefficient. Green rating = zero stars.

I think this is a great add, love it. They won't need it though this car sells itself. In fact when it launches there won't be any cars to buy for probably a year anyway.
