With alot of people picking up their 86's over the next month or so, please post up what drive away prices you got for you car.

I have been quoted:

$42600 drive away for GTS Auto in White.

$42,350 - GTS Auto orange.

I got my white GTS auto

Dealer hasn't given me the drive away price :'(

I have GTS Manual.

My GTS Auto Grey is $42,779 (but this includes $500 for metallic paint which will eventually be taken off) - so it's actually $42,279.

PS. All the FR-S orders comes with floor mats - and I'm pretty sure it will be the same for us. So make sure your dealer doesn't suck you in to paying for it.

Thats the TRD Kit. The Aero is meant to be the one with the huge wing.

Well NZ pricing lists the Aero Kit at $1600 so Id say we will get slogged $1500

Not official yet but looks like high $39000 for a White Manual GTS.

Still in negotiations. I cant really do anything till the 18th. Ive decided to wait till all info if official before i hand over or sign anything and if i have to wait till March or even June then so be it.

Trade in about $9000 so with luck when i sign ill slap on the counter with a thud $31000 cash.

I have asked my dealer to double check.

Which dealer? Did they give you a full typed up contract? I am trying to confirm mine is wrong. I am almost considering canceling my order and going on the waiting list an a different dealer.

They've taken you for a ride with that dealer delivery fee.

Small Northern Victorian Country Dealer, I was the first order they had done for an 86, and I am actually thinking they may have looked after me on the price as I went to see them after being screwed around for months by another bigger dealer. So I won't mention there name in case I get them in trouble. But ChocolateNick the $41K price you have been quoted is more than both place I went to for quotes on my GTS Manual.

I got quoted three times from 3 different dealers ~39500 drive away in Melbourne.

That dealer delivery fee is definitely excessive mate. if you were buying a new Porsche or 7 series BMW it would be pretty decent but not for a car with a sub-40k RRP. We charge $1,895 including GST (pretty sure that's what we charge) at Warren Toyota which is about average in NSW.

Not to be hard on salesman but they have to learn, look after me or i walk. Unfortunately a few bad apples spoil the bunch as they say.

In this case he surely hasn't and seen you as a sucker and tried to rip you.

Gather evidence of what other in the state are paying and possibly compare different models for proof, for when he whinges why?

By walking now he might have to join the queue again tho....

Try talk them down to match the delivery charge of local dealer.

On the same token though salespeople don't set the price for dealer delivery fees. If you want to teach someone a lesson, make sure it's the right person.

So I put my deposit down today to secure one for around dec delivery (may be earlier but don't care).

$39,100 with 12months rego and full tank of fuel for a White GTS 6MT.

Out of interest, does the $1895 include registration and stamp duty or is that separate?

That's expected from every new car bought. I hope they didn't make it sound like a freebie!
