Custom size wheels

ok, i am in search of some custom size wheels, but i am not trying to break the bank. so im asking does anyone have any idea of companies that can make some decently sized wheels at decent prices? so far i have found Motegi and American Racing. price range is under 3k if possible.

Pretty much any company who produces multi piece wheels (SSR, Work, CCW for example) can do custom sizes and offsets for a price. If you want single piece then I'm not sure. I'd probably say find a style or brand you like and then go from there.

define "decently sized" and "decent prices"

cheap
strong
lightweight

you can only pick 2.

swarb 02-10-2015 02:38 PM

99.9% of people don't need custom sizes, why do you need them? and what size? or style?

Also Jongbloed.

elBarto 02-10-2015 06:17 PM

Team Dynamics also.
And those aren't very expensive with good build quality.

shultz2 02-11-2015 12:05 AM

custom size as in 18x12 -45ish and 18x11 -20ish. i personally cant afford the 3 piece wheels. the companies producing a 2 piece welded wheel in the specs i am looking for are more reasonably priced for me. i am aware of the players producing 3 piece wheels, i should have been more clear.

slicktop 02-12-2015 09:28 AM

Forgestar won't break the bank.

That's like FD sizing! What wide body kit are you planning on running?

TylerLieberman 02-12-2015 01:11 PM

2 piece wheels are a good option.

For wheels like the Work Meister S1, you can choose your offsets in 1mm increments. I know other companies sometimes only provide a certain list of offsets for each wheel size.

3k is a good amount of money for wheels. A lot of those custom wheels will be right in that terriroty so you might end up going over a couple hundred bucks or so for those sizes, unless you can get some sort of deal with somebody.

Unfortunately they tend to be very heavy for the size.

Can I ask you why you need such a setup? Even people with rocket bunny don't go that wide.

cdrazic93 02-12-2015 02:56 PM

Instead of 18x12 i think 17.775x10.98 would suit you better.

I"m searching for proper specs for RB V3 fitment currently, looking @ Forgestar in similar size as you. The M14 is the wheel we are probably both gonna have to end up going with. On the plus side it will be well within your budget as even if you fully spec them out w every possible option a set in 18x11F and 18X12R or really any 18 in this style will come in just @ or under $3k shipped, and if you go w "naked" or "raw" finished ones that you can then get powdered or painted yourself should actually run closer to the $2200 price point. Hope this helps you somewhat and adds to the karma train to aid in my search for proper fitment specs as well bro.

Edit: FYI the M14 is a 2 piece wheel fwiw bro. Go to www.forgestar.com to check em out

Not sure i've been using the word "decent" correctly.

I'll try to use it in a sentance. I just want to make a decent living like Lebron.

18x12s. Damn!
