Anyone know a shop in Ventura County or Santa Barbara County? I live in Oxnard, all of these are an hour or more away :(

I don't know of any, but you can look at it this way: if you were in LA all of these places would still be an hour away.

Yeah Fuzion Teknique took me 1 hour & 45 mins to get to from where I am.. Traffic didn't help at all either.. :thumbdown:

Seems to be a few German brand auto shops around Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo, but am struggling to see anyone specializing in Japanese brands, let alone FR-S/BRZ's.

AutoTuned is the best shop in LA.

youve been to all of them?

Had a friend tell me about a place that specializes in Subarus, they'll help you get Track ready and mods. I haven't gone but my other friend said a guy who owns a GTR specialist shop in Oxnard recommended it. I plan to take my BRZ one day, anyways, the place is called YimiSport tuning.

Springs. Anyone have exp with any shops around ontario/upland (or even 30 mins away from these areas) that have installed your springs. and alignment! any feedback appreciated. I want to find a shop that knows EXACTLY what they are doing, because I'm a noob. lol

I know its not a tuner shop but has anyone had any experience with Pacific Auto Center in Fontana? Looking at a 16 FRS there and I just have some reservations about it since its been sitting there since July. If its any good, are there any shops near there that can do a PPI?

Hey man, if its the silver one stay away. I say this because I took it for a test drive and they had zero fuel and treated the car like $hit. I also took my scanner with me and asked them if I could hook it up. The car was recently reset and permanent failed codes remained, and I asked the sales guy if we can take it out for 15-20 min. He said NO.

The silver one I looked at had a retouch on the front drivers bumper/light and they claimed 0 damage to the car, opening the hook and inspecting showed someone took a hammer to the wheel area to bend it back.

If you need to barrow a scanner, feel free to PM me and ill meet up with you.

Edit - Also, watch out they want to run EVERYONES credit no matter what. I was paying cash 100% and they said I still needed a credit check, WTF? Find the car you want, make the deal THEN let them run your credit if you go that route. Personally they are a bit shady to me, but YMMV.

Ah I see. Thanks for the heads up. I was looking at a 16 Halo with 2k miles on it. Probably wont go for it since im actually in Seattle so im being really careful with who I deal with. They gave me a quote and it was way more than what some dealers were offering with the certified program.

Any collision shops that specialize in FRS brz that can replace aftermarket parts, in the San Bernardino county. I am located in victorville, thank you

Anyone have an suggestions on shops for good paint? that could get me in , in a reasonable amount of time.

First, I apologize if this is not related to the thread. My BRZ has a few aftermarket parts on it, but is still under warranty. I know some dealerships are hesitant to touch cars for basic service if there are aftermarket parts. Just wanted to know if there are any mod friendly dealerships in SoCal. Experiences? Maybe a master list of mod friendly dealer service departments? Thanks.

Does anybody know a shop that can do a rear fog light that goes in the red inverted triangle in between the reverse lights using the stock housing? I've seen this in some frs/brzs just dont know where to have it done at
