Where can I buy the engine of Ferrari 458 Speciale?

I found an engine of 458 Italia at low price on eBay, and I am trying to buy one from 458 Speciale for my AE86 Trueno.
I would need to think about the drivertrain of the car and the wiring would be a problem, but I should firstly find the engine.
And if you have any advice on buying the gearbox, please tell me. I want a 6 speed manual transmission just like that of F430. Thanks.

If you found one, why are you asking where to get one?

Wise 01-19-2015 02:16 AM

90k engine in a 2k car.

Riiiiiiight.

Good luck OP, you may not find the answer you are looking for. How about a recipe for blueberry pancakes instead?

1 cup flour - all-purpose
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons butter - cultured unsalted
3/4 cup milk - whole
1/2 cup yogurt - plain
1 large egg
3/4 cup fresh blueberries washed and dried
vegetable oil
Units:
Instructions
Combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda. and salt in a medium bowl and whisk together.
Put the butter in a small microwave-safe bowl and melt in the microwave. Let the butter cool slightly so it's no longer hot, but still liquid.
Measure the milk and yogurt into a 2 cup liquid measuring cup, then add just the white from the egg. Whisk this mixture together until smooth. Blueberry Pancake Recipe
Add the yolk to the butter and whisk together until smooth.
Pour the yolk and butter mixture into the milk mixture and whisk until smooth. Blueberry Yogurt Pancakes
Add half the blueberries to the flour mixture and toss together. If you're using frozen berries, do not let them defrost first, put them into the flour mixture straight out of the freezer. Best Blueberry Pancakes Recipe
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients then gently mix together until just combined. It's okay if there are still a few small lumps of flour.
Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium heat until hot. Pour a small amount of oil into the pan and use a wadded up paper towel to distribute a thin coating of oil evenly around the pan.
Pour the batter into small pancakes around the pan. Quickly sprinkle some more blueberries onto each pancake to fill in the gaps and let the pancakes cook until the edges start to dry out, and you see large bubbles show up in the pancake. Flip the pancake over and cook until the other side is golden brown. Blueberry Pancakes
Sprinkle with the remaining blueberries and serve with maple syrup.

This isn't even the correct way to troll...

Toda does engines for the F355 and the F430 so maybe thats an option,

But then you need to make sure you have a good flux capacitor to reverse the anti reversion caused by mounting a rear mount engine in a front mount car, is would result in the car running in reverse in non reverse gears so you need to reverse that action.

Kazuya 01-19-2015 03:34 AM

He is serious, Chinese money.

Go to the mirror and chant "MARANELLO MARANELLO MARANELLO" three times while waving your dipstick in the air. Enzo Ferrari himself should appear and grant your wish.

Thank you for reminding me of that. I am asking them about the installation of those engines.

China problem #128

Found Ferrari engine on Ebay. Wrong one!!!!!!!

BlackMonarch 01-19-2015 07:08 AM

Mid-engine for a front-engine car? Nothing can go wrong here. OP: Get an MR-S and try again.

Guillaume 01-19-2015 07:20 AM

That troll would be a lot more fun on a Ferrari board... Plus you know, it would make more sense given the request.

Sarlacc 01-19-2015 08:37 AM

How about a Russian OK-650 engine, that is a sweet little power plant.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OK-650_reactor
255000HP, no need for a turbo. But it might require some repositioning of the engine mounts.

OP, I am the wrongfully displaced Prince of Namibia. Please contact me immediately, I need your help transferring my secret millions out of the country ASAP.

In return, I will have the 458 engine Fedex'd to you via drone drop ship. But first I will need a good-faith down payment.

Yours truly,

Prince Muafufa Zinbaba

Ah come on now, most twins owners have Ferrari engines kicking around.
Pretty sure I have one in the back shed under the unicorn pelts and leprechaun gold.

Teseo 01-19-2015 11:13 AM

If op say, "hey i found a LFA engine and want to put it in frs" will be more credible.

Hey, I'd like a unicorn pelt. Wanna trade? I have a full scale rainbow (some assembly required)?

Considering the frs probably costs over 100k USD in china for him, a used Ferrari engine is cheaper.

No no, nothing like that. This is the real thing. All you need to do is get it up into the air at around 42° relative to the sun.

BTW, my wife was a princess in Nigeria and her father was in charge of the central bank. I believe he left you a large sum of money........

Japan has samurai and ninjas. China has kung fu (Shaolin monks, and wanna be Shaolin monks).

Anyway, just watch "The Last Samurai" followed by "Kung Fu Hustle". That's pretty much how things work over there.

Spoiler Alert: Apparently the Samurai were Scientologists.
