Hey, I'm new to Fort Gordon but I've seen at least 5 twins on post already. Any of you guys use this forum? Would be nice to have a face or name to go with the beautiful car.

Im on Gordon, and of the white ones is also an 86ATL member.

You guys may have been the ones I met at the auto center! I've seen at least 10 other 86s now but nobody seems to give a damn haha

Yeah, that's mine. I actually came out of the PX the other day and saw a black FR-S parked next to my car and a couple of guys standing next to it talking. I walked up and said something like "hey guys, what's up?" Then quickly realized they were officers. They turned out to be really cool though and seemed to know a lot about 86s, so at least we have a couple more who are willing to shoot the breeze.

Yea, that was me at the auto center lol. Love how good the color looks on your car. We hang out with the guys in ATL as far as events and meet ups. 86 Atlanta on fb if you're trying to find us.

i dont ever use the forums haha but we dont really have an 86 group in the Augusta area as far as an organized group but we go to ATL once in a while

Sup Sup, I drive the Gray BRZ, I need to wash/wax it though unfortunately its a bit dirty atm.

I'm at the big gym (flooded with IETers past 1700) around 1600, and you can also find me at the whole foods tuesdays from 1700-1900, and feel free to inbox me for my number or whatever, I enjoy driving to different cities just to cruise on the highway and I do drive fairly aggressively but d allah fzl that I havent been pulled over yet! Cars and coffee in Atlanta this weekend on Sunday, March 1st, we would have to leave pretty early but if anyone else wants to go we can meet up and drive together

I am PCSing to Ft. Stewart from Korea in about a month. Just wanted to know how often you have to do vehicle saftey inspection and emissions.

Dammit, I just saw this post. Sorry for not responding! I would have loved to have gone.

Georgia is pretty lax on emissions testing. Only 13 counties have to do testing. You'll be in Savannah, which is in Chatham county. No emissions testing required for you ;)

I used to live in Augusta back in the 80s. We lived in the Woodcrest Apartments on Sibley Rd.

Fort Gordon, wow, sends me back...

Just saw this post. I was the one with the black brz you met at the px! I would love to meet up with the other 86 owners around Fort Gordon/Augusta area. I was at Coffee and Cars Augusta last Saturday but did not see any other 86s other than mine... I'm headed to Atlanta this weekend for Caffeine and Exotics! Let me know if anyone of you guys are going!

We were in atl for cars and coffee the day before lol. Didn't know there was a caffeine and exotics. There is a group going to tail of the dragon for the annual 86 meet in about two weeks I believe

So that was you! I was wondering who put that there... I somehow hit a bird on the highway and need to get the car detailed to get rid of all the feathers and stuff around the engine bay...

That's actually kind hilarious. Anyway, would be great to get together. I won't be heading to Atlanta for at least the next month, but I'm sure we can figure something out.

Maybe we can figure out a day to have a meet in the area and do something

Well that sucks. What also sucks is that I'll be out of town that day. Have to go visit the in-laws in Jacksonville.

Florida. Not even real Jacksonville though. Some backwoods redneck town about 45 minutes away from there.

So I'm planning on getting to Cars and Coffee around 8am when they start. Come by and say hi!!!
