Full Blown's New Build for the 2015 Season Stage 3 (2.19L motor) + Stage 3 Turbo kit
Last year was an awesome year. Although we did not meet our 9 sec goal, we were pretty happy with how the car performed.
Our Shop Car is the testing bed for all of our products. It is the sole purpose of the car from the first day we got it. Although our stage 2 kit is more than capable of running 9's. We have decided to keep pushing the envelope. Here are some pics of what we are doing with the car. Follow us on this build to push the record further as we go faster .. You can't really have a 9 second 2L 4-cyl turbo without lag. It's a drag car, just build boost at the line and bang the gears without lifting, no lag!
Looking forward to the build. |
Holy mother of god.... in for this
|
Can't wait to hear more about that intake manifold.
|
I'm pretty stoked for the build too. Can't wait for the Full Blown Event this summer in MN!

@Dipstik-sportech secretly works for FBM...

Any chance of a upgrade option for those of us with stage 1?
|
A jump from a stage 1 to a stage 2 is doable but the stage 3 will be completely different. It would most would cost less if you sold the kit and did the stage 3.

LJ, Hello Sir. Its been a while since we last spoke. Well I am back into my second BRZ. I have been AXing a lot this past year. Regan is running the Cayman I picked up after I totaled the BRZ you boosted for me. Now I am running an STX (no FI) BRZ. A great car for AX. Anyways, I still follow all your threads. But a year ago or so I was asking you about tires. So I am very curious. What tire size setup have you all found works best for putting down the power in your shop car. I am still looking for more power, may eventually go back to FI. But I want to find a balance with the tires before decide to go back to the power level you had me at the first time. Anyways, hope all is well. |
They're at it again. I will be calling you soon LJ

monthly update?
|
Sorry for the lack of updates guys. Been extremely busy this winter but we are now starting to pay our car more attention.
Here are some update of our 2.19L Stage 3 Big bore motor. http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p...pshax5bqtl.jpg http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p...ps9vzyadwc.jpg http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p...ps7htqrm3y.jpg |
So, all in all, you could spend as much money on the motor from FBM as you would on a new 86....lol

No problems what so ever. If you reuse the oem pan, you have to pound it straight if you reuse it.
