West End Alignment

1 Attachment(s)
Hope it's OK for me to give a good review of exceptional service. I took my FRS to West End Alignment in Gardena, CA. for a corner balance and alignment today. Chris started out by asking all sorts of questions, what had I done to the car, how do I drive, How do I want the car to handle. He tried to get as much information as possible so he could set my car up to handle the way I wanted it.

I spent 2 hours sitting in my car so all his measurements and adjustments would be accurate with me in it. He took the time to explain everything he was doing, and why. All the while keeping me toped off with coffee and donuts.

He went out of his way to take care of me and my car. It was a pleasure doing buss. with him and I an't recommend West End Alignment enough.

Here's my Build Thread
http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showt...t=69139&page=4

Before,
Camber -3 front, -2.5 rear (to much)
toe 0 front and rear

Now
Camber -2.75 front, -2.25 rear
toe 0 front, 1/16th rear

On track tire temps were showing to much camber.

Chris and Darin are legit. Hands down one of the best alignment shops ever. SUPER nice and professional. They are the definition of true masters of their work and make it an art. They do everything by hand instead of just putting a car onto a rack and turning on a computer.

Although most shops have their own "fanbois" and whatnot, WestEnd deserves every single praise and more.

Would West End be able to install new wheels / tires as well? I'm looking for places in LA to do something like that. I don't really trust any place in town...

been going to West End for a decade

No, that was the alignment, corner balance is another $125, $250 total, but once again well worth it.

Don't know, is there something wrong with that?

Tenament05 01-09-2015 07:59 PM

I asked a question, did not infer there was anything right or wrong with it.

This thread should be in/reposted to suspension subforum so people know what's good

Sorry if I took it wrong, I just didn't see what your point was.

I went here today to get an alignment and camber bolts installed. Darin worked on my car, I spoke with Chris a little but he was on another car. Great service, they are extremely transparent and will walk you through everything that they do. I am very happy to have given them my business, and will probably go back once I get LCA's.
