New Need for Speed Trailer..... FR-S/BRZ Represented in a big way
First post.
New Need for Speed game (mobile only). The game looks like a mobile only game and graphics look kind of s---ty but the FR-S/BRZ is represented in a big way in the trailer. Forget video games, a lot of us are doing this stuff in real life (the modding that is, not so much the driving into oncoming traffic lol). And that is how you get 303 MPH out of an FRS!

GO TO ANOTHER SCHOOL Sell your car get it impounded why did you buy it Does anybody else just hate seeing so much FR-S/BRZ, or is it just me with this inner feeling. I mean yeah congratulations, can you please go someplace else where I'm the only one driving this car. Even though this has nothing to do with this I just got to add that I hate prius so much. That I want to buy a prius  |

And my town isn't some small hick town either. I live in Pearland Texas. Population of 100,000 and within 10 miles from Houston (which has a population of over 4 million). |
It's annoying because I have seen exactly 0 twins while driving my FR-S, but I've seen quite a few while driving my Jeep.

I do know what you mean though. The Twins are still pretty rare right around here. I had one of the very first yellow Rally Lancers brought into Canada and it turned heads every second I drove it for the first year and a bit. By the end of the second year you couldn't walk through a parking lot without tripping over 2 or 3. |
The twins are everywhere in NW Washington.
I probably see two every day in my thirty minutes on the road, NOT including my neighbor's white FR-S. Doesn't bother me one bit. I bought the car for my own driving pleasure. Anyway, I bet mine will be the cleanest one still on the road in ten years. They were relatively cheap when new, and the used ones will attract boy racers like flies. I bet it will be like trying to find a clean S2000 or Corrado in twenty years time. :-/ |

You know how people say they don't want to own a Scion?
This thread is why. |

Not saying it's a valid sentiment (pretty stupid imo, it's a machine not a lifestyle choice) just that this thread is a shining example of the stereotypical "Scion enthusiast". Quote:

Got to remember that it is the younger guys that are going to post on a video game thread. I probably would have said the same thing back when I was that age. Mind you it would have how big my back tires were compared to my front and how the airbrushed flames came out just right. I would also have had to send it into the letters section of a magazine so it would have been a lot slower!!!! |
why would someone film me driving to work, and then post it on youtube saying its a new game coming out?

I competed in my first motorsport race a decade ago, I've been to shows and meets and watched hundreds of hours of documentaries, no need to lecture me on 'lifestyles', I just want to have fun in my machine and I'm glad you've found a way to do it too. |
Do you guys really care if you're not the only one with a twin in town? It makes me kind of happy seeing some driving around, like a "hey buddy" kind of feel.

Now that could change if I saw 3 or 4 every day. |
Need for Speed has sucked for a long time. Underground 2 and Carbon were the last decent games.
These days the only thing significant about NFS is that they're the reason why we don't see Porsches in good racing games like Forza and Gran Turismo. I think Forza is the best balanced racing game. You can sim race around the laser scanned tracks or you can build fantasy cars like a Mazda RX3 with a 20B Turbo, or a 2000GT with a 2JZ, or a GT86 with a V8 Twin turbo. Something for everybody. |

I don't mind it one bit. I like seeing other cars on the road. It's interesting to see the modifications that others have done. |

You are right it gets easier with practice. I have been driving MT for 40 years and give shifting no more conscious thought then I do steering or braking. It just sort of ...happens. |

This is the first thing I've read that makes me want to play an Xbox One. Not even own, just play with it for awhile... |

The one and only racing game I ever played where I didn't get my ass handed to me by a 8 year old!

On the other hand the one positive response was REALLY positive. Even his female-friend pitched in if I remember correctly.:happyanim: Edit: Quote:
I've seen Scion owners who attempt to portray their car as being much better than it really is with sub-par components, but as I'm sure you know, nearly every manufacture has "those" consumers. I'm sure you have a reason for singling out Scion owners. Maybe you've been active in Scion forums before. Dunno. I probably have the same reasoning for writing this post as you did with yours, as in I don't really expect this reply to mean much to anyone, I just needed to kinda...say it. |
They need to make a Need For Speed Underground 3 already!
