Anyone have any actual costs for this service, all done standard at the dealer?

Should be free, thought all the Subaru came with free maintenance up to around 25K miles.

Just got quoted $86...seems really good...and covers all the inspections. Now, hopefully they actually perform them!😕

$86 seems like a pretty good deal then. I was quoted $90 just for an oil change from the dealer (ending up doing diy).

I have it in writing, so I will hold them to it. I will let you know how it goes in a few weeks.

One other factor may be that you have to service it sat the place of purchase, which is not an option for me...or it is region dependent. I would be interested to know.

When I got my subie, it came with the 2/26k service. I brought it into two different subie dealerships and they honored it no problem.

I don't have it, it was a $750 dollar charge I have removed. I understand this to be a negotiable item when you are purchasing the car

I personally stay far from the dealership and do it myself.

I am mechanically inept, so I don't think I will be taking that option 😀

It is my understanding that free service is being offered by Subaru only to "southern states" as an incentive to buy their AWD products. I guess they feel like they don't need to offer such incentives to northern states. Although the BRZ is not AWD, they aren't carving that vehicle out of the offer. I live in Oklahoma and we got the incentive when I bought my car back in October. However the free service deal is not offered in neighboring states like Kansas and Missouri. Go figure.

Mine seems to think pretty highly of themselves and want $299.99 for this. I'm going to drill the service manager on what exactly they're charging me for when I bring it in for at least an oil change tomorrow. My gut tells me they've bundled a fuel injection cleaning service in there, but I don't know yet. How time intensive are those inspections?

So, had the car serviced today and it was $86 as quoted, so seems to be OK.

BTW...nice TRD series 1.0 on the lot, but I am too old for that Yuzu Yellow ��
