2013's ?
When I was looking for my car I had been offered a 2013 10 Series that was new in the lot at Merced Toyota. I never bought it. Went with 2015 in San Diego. Are the 10 series that unpopular to not be purchased? Mind boggling to me. I still go to the Merced dealer to look around when bored and its still there.

2500 may have been too many to sell as an FR-S limited edition. Scion seems to be reducing the number each time (2000 for Monograms, 1500 for RS1.0). Obviously they see that they aren't selling the numbers they predicted.
What killed the 10 Series is barely 6-months later they came out with the Monogram. And for $25 less on MSRP you could get Alcantara/Leather heated seats, Nav, spoiler, a rear seat armrest ;), and your choice of color. |

A light pearl silver that shimmers blue is ugly? To each his own.......... |
Yep, 10 series owners really should have been compensated somehow. They got screwed. I actually feel bad for them.

I like mine. Got is for 24k too!

The FRS is such a good deal at 25K, but is pushing the threshold at 30K.

The color.....that color just has no appeal. There are 2 10 series on the lot near here. They came from another lot that abandoned Scion.

Considering that... WRX costs 40k AU GTI costs 40k AU MX5 costs 45k AU 370Z costs 60k AU Boxter costs 110k AU M3 costs 150k |
I bought my 10 Series in August of 2014 for $23,500 and I absolutely love the car. I had originally wanted a Monogram, but couldn't find one locally and the difference in price between Scion's 'Pure Price' on the Monogram and my negotiated price on the 10 Series was massive. I would have rather had a current model year, but the FR-S is a much better proposition at $23,500 than $28,300. The biggest surprise for me has been the color! I was originally on the fence, but there's really nothing like it on the road and I get excited when I look at the car in different light - it's actually a really cool color!
The 10 Series cars were produced late in the 2013 model year and had most of the early TSBs already addressed - they're solid cars and, light-up badges aside (there is a switch that shuts them off, by the way), they're a steal! Get one - you won't regret it! |

Only reason it's still sitting is the pricetag, >$30k for a 200 hp 2-door car?
Who cares if it's got glowing badges and keyless whatever, you can pick up a Mustang GT with more than double the horsepower for equal money. If they chop that down to $25k-$26k it would sell before the year is out, hell they may be able to get $27-$28 with an unsuspecting buyer who is smitten. But it's delisted now maybe somebody bought it. |
Got mt 2013 10 series with 2300 miles on it for $24 000 out the door....in Hawaii! Haha
