A friend of mine in jp thought this was an authentic TRD wing..however iv never seen it before.

Help me navigate through JPs GT86 car network to find more photos of this red TRD specifically to see this wing.

I have no idea who makes it, but a bit of black belt Google-Fu turned up another picture of it.

I thought it looked familiar. So you can order this through any Nissan dealer?

As for the rest of the car, can anyone identify the wheels? And the body kit is mostly TRD but not the back lip on the sides... Is that the Modellista rear?

igorot 06-05-2012 12:06 PM

Sick.

Lol, I looked at the first shot and immediately said, "Da Fuq? That's a GTR wing!"

Yeah, I'm surprised it fit too!!

WingsofWar 06-05-2012 12:18 PM

wow that wing fits like a glove.....

If thats IS the factory GTR wing, color me impressed.

SVTSHC 06-05-2012 12:18 PM

So what you're saying is...

http://www.carbon-fiber-hoods.com/co...on-spoiler.jpg

Carbon Fiber GTR spoiler anyone?

igorot 06-05-2012 12:26 PM

Something designed like this utilizing the stock holes would be perfect

ichitaka05 06-05-2012 01:02 PM

I want to know is how can I get that vortex maker on the rear pillars

Ridiculous price, but none the less available.

Kinda is ridiculous price, but those thing do help... so when I go to Japan (prob next yr), I'll pick one of those things up

SVTSHC 06-05-2012 01:17 PM

So I've decided. Either Hot Lava or Firestorm, with TRD front spoiler / side skirt, Seibon Nissan GTR carbon fiber OEM spoiler, Coilovers, Rims and I/H/E. Will be my first and only mods till the warranty ends (maybe a tune. Maybe). And I may just save up about 6k on the side before I finance the FRS and knock all those out within the first week of owning the thing :bonk:.

Welp. . . Found my spoiler. Not sure if I wanna drop a grand for just a spoiler though.

DIG1992 06-05-2012 02:11 PM

Thats reaching outside the box with hotness

skoodge 06-05-2012 03:36 PM

would this with a few minimal scratches (that might be able to be buffed out) be worth it instead of paying 1200 for a new one?

Yeah, its more like GTR "look" since it's missing the center support. I guess I'll be the black sheep and say  since it's on the verge of riceness. A 4 cyl doesn't need such an agro wing. .02

Center part is separate peace :)

That piece was added under, where it actually attaches to the trunk

OEM GT-R spoiler is 2 separate peaces.

MVJ1975 06-05-2012 04:07 PM

I like. Spoiler is one of the add-ons I must have for mine. Out of all of the ones I've seen, I like this one the best.

Snoopyalien24 06-05-2012 04:08 PM

Oh I found it... it's just this same car

http://www.ft86club.com/forums/attac...6&d=1328713805

Just someone sat on the spoiler giving it the "GTR spoiler" look :bellyroll:

I do like that 'Ring kit

No I don't mean that center piece, I mean the ones on the sides.. Like some fiber glass added so it can be held by the trunk holes.. I'm not sure how to explain it exactly

ESBjiujitsu 06-05-2012 04:19 PM

rcm47 06-05-2012 04:20 PM

Would look sick on that GRMN concept car.

Anyone want to do a PS?

Hawaiian 06-05-2012 04:26 PM

I'm pretty sure I saw that spoiler a month or 2 back when all those bodykits were scanned in and the lfa knockoff was in there.

Can't be that car! It's missing those little ridges on the C piller just above the rear window. Those 2 little red bumps are not visible here.

I'm guessing that your suggesting its the same car but a different wing? It could be if they added those bumps I guess.

Ah, I'm seeing the seam now. But I think you'll find there are 4 separate pieces. ;)

My money is now on it being an OEM upper/center section with custom, aftermarket or modified OEM supports. The angle at which the supports connect with the trunklid are completely different between the GTR and the 86 (which is the point I was trying to make with my comparison picture), so the supports are definitely not OEM. But with it being modular there's no reason why the center section shouldn't be.

touche, touche

Mari0 06-05-2012 05:30 PM

We've actually seen this EXACT car before in the 'modified' thread. The guy just found an alternative to the fugly OEM spoiler he had on... (I still wouldn't choose a GTR wing though)

he's joking. did you miss the part about someone sitting on the wing? come on.

I like this GT-R wing, it is unique.

sunney 06-05-2012 11:05 PM

i think it is excellence . no defect .

Godzpeed 06-06-2012 03:48 AM

I'm sure the lower mounting part of the spoiler has been thru custom work to get it fit.

But you can see how much wider the GTR actually is compared to the 86
