Toyota sent a bill before I seen/put a downpayment?

I DON"T KNOW IF I"M ALLOWED TO CUSS OR NOT BUT WTF! I HAVEN"T PAID TOYOTA A DIME NOR HAVE I"VE SEEN MY FUCKING CAR, WHY THE FUCK DO I HAVE MY FIRST MONTHLY PAYMENT BILL FROM TOYOTA? NOT ONLY THAT, IT IS AN EXTRA 1000 FROM WHAT WE AGREED ON. LORD HAVE MERCY WTF!?

Someone please tell me what to do now... I feel like my salesmen fucked up, that's why he didn't let me pick it up next month.

Wise 11-25-2014 12:25 AM

Best to take your contract and the bill into the dealership in person. That way they can't put you on hold or pawn you off to some jerk off dept.

Tell them you won't pay a cent until the car is in your possession.

Knshro13 11-25-2014 12:41 AM

lol. in this case you can cuss all you want because thats pretty messed up.

but really, thats pretty messed up.

peachsnow 11-25-2014 12:43 AM

Lol like I am 100% gonna get the car and everything but damn at least let me see the fucking car first. What if there were scratches and shit wtf.

lol that was funny

fatoni 11-25-2014 01:10 AM

so you signed a contract for a car you never saw?

Tromatic 11-25-2014 02:09 AM

So who's actually paying for this car, you or your parents?

No, we just did paperwork to figure out the interest rate. Financial manager said we were not signing the contract until we got to see the car.

I am, but my dad is helping me cosign to boost up my credit.

fyi your dad doesn't cosign to boost your credit. your dad is paying it off, YOU are cosigning to boost your credit.

also, coming to the forums is great for certain questions about the car itself, but why the finance guys screwed something up on your car note is pretty much a question only toyota finance can answer. So not sure why you came here

ps your threads are hilarious

Unfortunately none of us will be any help to you... We have no idea why they would do that to you. So you should simply call whoever sent you the bill.. Rather simple if you ask me

peachsnow 11-25-2014 02:41 AM

Before coming to the forums I sent my sales person a text as well as calling him with no reply and the dealership already closed. I just wanted some if any info that may be helpful to me tomorrow. So I mean if this was a crime then sorry lol.

Maybe you bought two cars? Co-sign's usually end in tears, this one is starting that way.

fatoni 11-25-2014 04:10 AM

If there is no contract, don't pay anything. Why would you?

campy 11-25-2014 04:19 AM

Bring the bill to the dealership and ask them to clarify. It seems like someone simply goofed to me.

Maritime Storm 11-25-2014 07:08 AM

Up front payment on a lease perhaps?

Burrcold 11-25-2014 07:58 AM

It wouldn't surprise me if this was in some way your own fault. Just saying...

marcosowns 11-25-2014 08:23 AM

Something isn't really adding up here... Either the dealership has some very shady practices or we're not getting the entire story. Either way my experiences with different dealerships have hardly ever been pleasant so I'm still giving this kid the benefit of the doubt. Although I get the feeling some paperwork might have been signed that wasn't fully read before signing..?

Oh and great threads!

Tcoat 11-25-2014 09:05 AM

OP, there is no need to double post or start a new thread for everything. If you want this one to be active then answer here if you want the other to be then answer there. Let one or the other die though.
Unless of course you are just fishing for the answers you want to hear as opposed to the ones you may actually get then keep both open and take your lumps!

SloS14 11-25-2014 09:55 AM

You should post about your experience on the internet. That'll get to the bottom of it.

Surely we know more than the people he's dealing with directly.

Braces 11-25-2014 11:49 AM

I get the sense that the OP and his parents do not understand the process of financing and purchasing a car. My advice: spend less time here on the forums and more time speaking directly to the dealership. Buying a car does not have to be this difficult.

caps lock appears to be malfunctioning.. or working perfectly

peachsnow 11-25-2014 12:13 PM

lol guys I'm not tripping this dealerships policy is amazing, you can return the car within 3 days if I'm not satisfied. Buying the car isn't the problem, I want the car. Just trying to figure out what happen, I'll call them later around 10:30 and all this will be clear to everyone.

Datcrazyeric 11-25-2014 12:48 PM

Someone somewhere screwed up you aren't suppose to get any kind of bills or anything until the contract is finalized and even that it takes usually 30-45 days to get the bill.

peachsnow 11-25-2014 01:56 PM

Alright bottom line is, the sales person was the one trying to hit quota for himself. I spoke to the manager of the store instead and she said "You wanna pay and pick up on the car on Dec 7th? No Problem." The extra 1k was interest charge that shows you this is the total amount you would pay if you follow the 5 year payment plan.

GreenMonster 11-25-2014 05:20 PM

Oh, you're the pearl harbor day guy... now I understand...

I didn't make the connection to the other thread until just now.

Payments are $1,000 HIGHER?!! You sure you didn't buy a Ferrari or something?
