Please post after it has been fitted. Hubby and I were talking about a supercharger rather than a turbo. Would be awesome to know what would be best.

GTEN86-ZN 12-08-2014 03:22 PM

Dropped of car with Dave at rgm this morning can't wait to collect car next week Monday.Dave thanks for lift back to airport in your 86 great ride

sav 12-09-2014 04:26 AM

Nice car. Looks like some massive wheels you've got there, what size tyres and how did it affect performance, assuming they're much heavier than stock?

GTEN86-ZN 12-09-2014 02:34 PM

Hi thanks for the compliments. Mags are 20 inch imported from ozzy tyres Australia. Performance has dropped not sure of figures. Found mags to lighter to original mags. Car is at Rob green Motorsport .will be Dyno tested with original and then 20s will disclose figures to you then.

Thanks, it would be more interesting to see performance figures on the road before & after. Being 20" they're probably 235 or wider?

:coolpics:

Those pipes should flip any car driving behind you

Why did you loose performance if those wheels are lighter?

Probably the heavy fat tyres.

Didn't get an answer but I'm assuming 235 or 245's?

And/or the fact that his gears will feel longer.

sav 12-10-2014 09:19 AM

Yep, if the circumference is bigger then definitely.

GTEN86-ZN 12-10-2014 03:58 PM

Hi Sav
Tyres are bigger in circumference and it's a 235
The rims are lighter in weight compared to original rims.

Does that cause your speed to be inaccurate on the speedometer?

sav 12-11-2014 03:32 AM

Cool, any pics from the rear?

Freedom - it should be more accurate with bigger wheels.

GTEN86-ZN 12-11-2014 11:44 AM
