So I'm sitting in my car just playing with all the buttons and radio and all that trying to get everything figured out. I feel like a little kid again lol.

Beautiful!

Asphalt is both the most understated color, and the most beautiful in full sunlight. Nice choice. Welcome. :-)

Thanks man. Oh believe me I've been waiting that long as well but I had it shipped from Sacramento CA to Winston Salem NC and that process took about 5 weeks and I had to wait another week while I got my insurance situated (made some stupid mistakes as a younger man that I'm paying for now) but all that's in the past and I'm starting over fresh or should I say FReSh lol

I agree...loved the Flint Micah color on my tC and love the Asphalt color on my FRS. Both look great in the sunlight and I love how they look different in different light.

Grats OP! Still remember picking my FRS up just a few months ago. A great day for sure!

FR-BLESS 11-18-2014 03:35 AM

Asphalt color is the only color :D

There's nothing like a clean black car. I would have gotten my BRZ in black but I just don't have the time to deal with 2 black cars.

Congrats OP. Team Asphalt for the win!

My last two cars were black. Pretty when clean, but damn hard to keep up with.

NLS8520 11-18-2014 07:41 PM

Congratulations bro, that car is a beaut!

Deep grey is classy af

TnRen41 11-19-2014 03:49 AM

I think asphalt is hands down the best color with a 2nd place tie with aquamarine and hot lava. I felt like I would get burnt out on HL and my Dakota was a deep blue so I was kinda over that. Also I think asphalt would be easier to paint match if that ever became a problem plus my mom's highlander is the same color and she has about 8 things of touch up paint that she won't ever use so it was another bonus and I'd rather spend more time driving it than washing it.

How diplomatic! <happy grin> We all love our cars and love the color of our cars. They all look great.

...except for hot lava, but only those in London, Ontario.

Hey, Tcoat, nice rims. :D Down here in Texas, if we get any coating of ice whatsoever, no one goes anywhere until it melts (usually later in the same day, but not always.)

I lived in that area near Buffalo that got nailed yesterday with 5 feet of snow and more on the way today. Makes me glad I moved!

Pops from Williamsville outside of Buffalo, I got a couple cousins in Niagara Falls still and they've been putting fb pics up. SOOO glad I don't have to deal with that mess.

Well you will be glad to know that at this moment (after 3 hours on the sanded highway) it is more of a cross between whiteout and 1980 Dodge beige!

The good news is that it works really well as a snowplow through very deep snow!

Haven't dug them out yet. Don't think I can anyway as the rims don't have the bulges that they clip onto.
May just have to get some of the cheap spinners and play lowrider.

Lunatic 11-20-2014 03:19 PM

I love my black FRS with it's gold wheels but don't like the way it shows the dust we get here. But I knew what I was in for when I picked the color.
