With that budget, there's a few cool things that you could by him.

Shift knobs, shift knobs...and umm... hmm maybe a shift knob?

WeatherTech Mats? It's that time of year. How about some Alcantara interior pieces, or maybe swap the interior bulbs for nice clean LEDs. JDM side markers, or a JDM rear fog light. Morimoto LED fog lights would be a GREAT gift if its a limited. Or even something as simple as a nice car wash kit would be good. Maybe have the windows tinted, but that's likely to go beyond the listed budget.

If I was asking for something for my BRZ, from my wife, it would probably be something along these lines.

Weathertech DigitalFit Mats, from Nextmod in Markham. Stylish, within budget, and extremely useful year round.

AznKirby 11-15-2014 06:43 PM

There's a Nextmod in Sauga, too.

I'd get the WeatherTech mats. Only because cars are one of those personal things that you don't want to try forcing someone's hand at.

I've gotten all sorts of gifts for my car in the past where I've smiled, been very grateful, and put it on the car saying, "Looks good!"
...and then promptly removed it from the car two days later thinking, "Thank GOD."

The floor mats will be useful, and you don't really have to worry about them being the wrong style or anything.

If he already has weathertech floor mats, you can get him red rally armor mud flaps:

They'll go nicely w/ the red lugnuts you asked about a couple days ago ;)

Emdom Seat Belt Pads

Great quality, comfortable and look just like they belong in the car. My brother thought they were factor accessories.

Not sure of cost, but you could get the storage bin for the trunk. Groceries, etc. always roll around in the trunk.

A black car? Pre-pay for a bunch of car washes at a decent place.

I didn't know that, thanks for the tip.

My last car and current car have Weathertech Digitalfits. Totally 100% worth the cost, if only because I don't have to worry about winter shit slushing around onto my carpet and having scrub it out of the carpet in the spring. $20 mats from Crappy Tire or Costco don't even come close to their effectiveness.

My gf gave me this WC Lathe Werks Titanium shift knob as a gift.
You can choose color, finish, and even engrave on it(for example your name).

There are some other options on the website.
But the question is: Does he drive stick?

BeRZed 11-16-2014 04:34 AM

$150 cash. Just kidding. You could put in a little more and get him the OEM armrest.

cywinr 11-16-2014 04:59 AM

let us know what you decide! update first post! shift knobs a good idea, you can always have more than one and switch them depending on your mood. weathertech mats can't go wrong they fit perfectly. LEDs make a huge difference compared to regular bulbs.

smotonaga 11-18-2014 01:46 AM

STI teddybear for the back seats, since theres no use for those seats anyways...

xxBrun0xx 11-18-2014 02:16 PM

TRD Quickshift kit. He WILL thank you :)

AznBRZer 11-18-2014 02:22 PM

I think tints, car washes at a place that knows what they're doing(it should be done by hand), or weathertech mats are a good idea. The only issue with the mats is that it'll scratch up the dead pedal.
