Anyone put Toyota badges on yet?
Wondering if anyone put Toyota badges on yet or are going to.
I'm along time Toyota fan and was thinking if it would be strange to put Toyota badges on the BRZ. I wonder what the Subaru service center would think. |

awesome are you gonna remove the frs and replacing it with 86 ??

I've never liked any factory badging other than the old Mazdas. I would take them all off, aside from the 86 decal on the front fenders. My Celica has no Toyota badging left, just the "GT-S" and a blue Celica Drgaon.

I really want to do this as one of my first mods, any tips or advice on how I should do this? I'm kind of a noob when it comes to car mods, even something as simple as this, I don't want to screw it up.

Will be doing this at my first mod, along with removing the FR-S and changing the wheel caps to Toyota instead. Too bad the steering wheel is an entire assembly replacement, so that will have to wait... a while.

You need to check out the DIY section on the forum. It has a great step by step guide for removing the badges.

Slightly off topic, but I highly suggest letting Toyota know you want to see the car as a Toyota, so much so that you're swapping badges. Those of you who have done badge swaps, send pics of your cars with the Toyota badges to Toyota. They take into account what people say and do, so if you let them know there may be a smidge of hope they release the Toyota version. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. It's worth a shot.
They have "contact us" buttons at the bottom of all their websites, Toyota.com, Toyota.ca, Scion.com, Scion.ca, let them all know. |
