hunter323279@gmail.com is a scammer

Recently purchased a set of buddy clubs from Hunter Noel, Forum member name hunter323279@gmail.com

He agreed to sell me a pair of mint condition and perfect working order buddy club tails. Made an agreement via PayPal. He mailed em. Upon receiving them, We noticed the molding on the inner housing is not in tact. There are warps in the black plastic under the reflector. And the inner black housing is sliding forward exposing the inner light and wires.

When contacting him he is basically saying I damaged them. I have given him the opportunity to refund me some money and send any and all purchase Info so I can get it fixed via warranty on my time. Or refund me fully and I'll send them back. As of this point he is giving me his terms to comply with.

End of the day. I have filed a PayPal complaint and have contacted local PD and made a police report and are pursuing charges against him.

Keep your eyes out and be cautious of this member

White64Goat 10-25-2014 04:12 PM

One person YOU are dealing with does not represent the whole club/forums.

lastexile1987 10-25-2014 04:29 PM

There have been hundreds if not thousands of transactions started on ft86club and while I'm sorry you got scammed by someone, maybe you should have been more inquisitive or asked for photos. I know as a rule on these forums you are pointing out, that pictures and proof of ownership are required before used items can be sold. Look at any large group and there can be bad apples but don't lump all of us together with some douchbag

flat486 10-25-2014 05:16 PM

I received photos. Of buddy clubs still wrapped in plastic. Asked about specific deformities and we're told they were mint. My apologies for not editing. This is a copy and past from what I sent to his car club in particular. I don't mean to group everyone with liars like him

lastexile1987 10-25-2014 06:12 PM

Gotcha lol...now I feel bad haha

Came off as kind of harsh

Yeah. When someone scams you via internet and stalls your money is a crime

jdmblood 10-26-2014 10:58 PM

Yes he is a definite scanner. Everyone bewareee!!!

PayPal has a dispute system. Use it. A real scammer never would have mailed you the parts and would have cut off contact with you as soon as he got your money.

I mean sending broken as fuck items claiming them to be be and in perfect mint condition is just adds fraudulent and worse. Were supposed to be a community that supports one another and can be trusted. Bit clearly there are bad eggs

hunter3232792 10-27-2014 11:03 PM

hey guys

well this is always two sides of a story and im here to describe my side

im not going to say you have to believe my side but please adhere to my side

i was contact for some tailights and flat486 "bryan" he sent me a payment after a couple
days and were sent they were in near mint condition bubled wrapped and sent

he received it thursday texted me the same day told me he already had them on and that he loved it! i told him if he had any issues when he received it to let me know the day of so we can handle any issue i was told there wasnt

he then does not texts me friday and texts me saturday saying wires are exposed saying the modling is warped and the inner casing is dropped forward with wires exposed

he then asking for a partial refund and to keep the tail lights in my impression and if not all the warranty information

he then repeated that i was scamming him and was going to call the police threatened to call my car club and let them know "what a shit bag i am" kept threatening me saying that i am going to be a convicted felon and argued

i said we can go through warranty because i have no idea what he had done with the taillights from thursday-saturday

kept instilling fear saying there was a cop at his door taking pictures then a couple mins later said he was going to call the police

i tried working with him saying we can go through warranty or send me the product back and he will get a full refund no problem

again then said he was going to make my life miserable with contacting my school and kept saying i was going to be kicked out and arrested with also saying my bank account and credit score were going to be severely damaged and using his lawyer to pursue all the legal rights he had

i sent him all the information and he is going through buddy club to get new tailights

ive gone through 50 purchases for my car buying and selling and never have had a issue

again this is my side of the story i never wanted a problem with him and tried to work with him but he still said he was going with his lawyer to "ruin my life"

but seems we have gone over that and going through warranty :)

again i have been trying to work with him and not cause any problems

ive been around since august 2012 ive always been active and love the community not trying to hurt it

i also have not recieved any police department calls or paypal cases and i will work with him till this is fixed :)

wrussi 10-27-2014 11:22 PM

Seems the buyer is the scammer here.

flat486 10-28-2014 12:05 AM

I dig this. Putting words in my mouth. Seller claimed item was in perfect condition. And obviously was not. Told seller to either refund me and I would mail item back, to which he refused to do only once he received the item in return.... if youd like Hunter I'll gladly post the texts. I said that option two would be to refund me a portion of my money, and I would go through warranty as the item was not in "perfect condition" as you described them.

Someone on Facebook, who knows you from your school messaged me and said it wouldn't bode well for you or your admissions if someone charged you for fraudulent transactions online. To which your father then took over communications and said "don't touch my son's college, you will receive your refund immediately"

Which I have not.

Your father was kind enough to send me purchase and warranty info, which you said you'd provide me and didn't. And YOUR father is checking in to see how else he can help.

A warranty process I am having to go through. After paying x amount of money for a product in which YOU described aS mint and perfect.

Even after speaking with other owners of said lights, and the manufacturer, the defect to the lights are in fact a known defect... but don't happen in a matter of a week.

And yes, you can have a police report filed, and PayPal has received a case, pending resolution with the manufacturer and warranty.

So if you'd like Hunter, to quote things and misconstrue what I have said, And try to make yourself look like you did nothing wrong, that is all fine and dandy, but there are tons of members of my club who got to see it all first hand.

Our club wouldn't allow someone in it who gives us a bad rap, and you have done so by selling an item via these forums, and describing them incorrectly.

flat486 10-28-2014 12:07 AM

You lied about a product dude... and tried to fuck someone who won't let you fuck them. Deal with your shit

hunter3232792 10-28-2014 12:12 AM

i am not answering you anymore i am not going to waste my time

have yet to receive any notification of any case or police report but please continue to try and instill fear

flat486 10-28-2014 12:23 AM

And as mentioned to you via text, as you wouldn't answer a call, I contacted a lawyer ,who is a family friend, who advised me of rights as a buyer in this situation who said file a police report and contact PayPal..

Then your father took over communication, and as per my conversation with whomever it was who texted me before... I am going through the warrant process for the defect...

However, this is irrelevant from the point.

Point being, you claimed an item to be mint and in perfect condition.. which they clearly were not... and aS a buyer it's a pain in the ass that I paid what I paid for a product. That I have to get fixed.

We will see how everything pans out and I'm hopeful for both you and I, however, people need to know that you mislabeled an item and sold to someone under the impression I was buying something that was "like new"

hunter3232792 10-28-2014 12:26 AM

again they were "near mint" pictures were taken before they were sent out again

i do hope for the both of us everything works out and you get new tailights !

So lights were fine when received and then failed later due to a known manufacturing defect....Good scam!

Here is how I see it:

@hunter3232792 purchased some used Buddy Club tails back in August and for whatever reason decided he didn't like them and decided to sell them. He listed them as near mint and shipped them properly protected. I can't find the for sale thread on FT86Club, so I don't know where he actually sold them and can't verify what condition he listed them as.

@flat486 received the tails, installed them, and loved them. Then my guess is that he went to modify them as it seems 75% of BRZ/FR-S owners love to do and in the process of modifying them somehow damaged them. Instead of sucking it up and accepting it, he figured he could get some cash out of @hunter3232792 or better yet a full refund so he can buy another set.

The resolution should be that @flat486 should attempt to utilize the Buddy Club Taiwanese "warranty" process as they were working properly when sold to him. Unless I see more proof my recommendation is not to sell to @flat486 and for him to quit e-thugging and leave @hunter3232792 alone.

I agree but that is not always a negative as you present it. I use all the 4 letter words at work when I am trying to deal with lazy assholes or other bullshit. Of course I censor it when the suits are around but the people I work with closely know that fuck is a comma for me, even the 50 year old church going ladies.

hunter3232792 10-28-2014 01:15 PM

Hey tut I appreciate your 3rd party insight and I sold them because I didn't have the relay which makes the sequence which is my favorite part of it and was also offered a great price for them so I sold them

Model Citizen 10-28-2014 01:25 PM

screenshots are always helpful, for everyone,

flat486 10-28-2014 01:41 PM

Lol. Lights were damaged before install. Put em on my car to see what they looked like. I hardly have the time to put em on the car, let alone "modify" them.

Strange how you have come to that conclusion. The kids dad even messaged me saying he WANTS to help and realizes his son didn't describe them appropriately. No thuggery taking place. Just a kid trying to make money off of someone on the forums who isn't going to allow that to happen. But to each their own. Everyone is entitled to an opinion and king tut you're more than welcome to your own opinion, my other sales on this site have gone perfectly fine... and the buyers and purchasers have had no issues with me nor I any one else prior to Hunter..

flat486 10-28-2014 01:46 PM

Pictures are too large to post. Any way. Interior housing has slid forward in the shell of the lights. To the point where when looking down into the left drivers side light you can see into the electronics. Same on passengers side, just not as bad.
The black moulding that surrounds the arrow shapes, that distinct look these lights provide... is disconnected on both drivers and passengers side. Hanging loosely and not "tight" around the arrows

flat486 10-28-2014 01:55 PM

Judging by the picture you sent me, on my phone Hunter. It shows the lights.

And the relay. Together.

Again picture dimensions are too large... but in the texts you sent me. There is clearly the lights. On a wooden table. With a packaged and sealed relay. The first pic you sent me is cropped to hide it....

Also in.the picture I received. The lights were perfect. The buddy club logo still was white, the black trim is still in perfect place. However, on the ones I received. the white paint on buddy club is gone... faded. And again the moulding jacked.

Also. There is a post on Facebook I saw last night with one of your friends commenting on you STILL having buddy clubs.

You sold me a fucked up pair And each day someone pm's or tags me in a post that exposes your crap.

For real. I think a shot of the delivery confirmation date and then a shot of the first contact regarding the issues would solve a lot considering both sides are telling different timeframes.

Otherwise you are just two guys arguing on the internet:popcorn:

hunter3232792 10-28-2014 02:01 PM

The relay shown in the picture is a stock relay that brock had sent me the person who sold the tails to me the time I receive the lights from brock and sold them to you they were on the car in the garage and no one had driven the car because I'm in school no one's trying to hide anything there's no sneaking around and thanks for believing in my troll friends lol they comment on everything of buddy club anything if it is posted and tag me its a joke

marcoaferrer 10-28-2014 02:01 PM

to me it sounds like the buyer is unwilling to work with the seller. i think the seller has more than tried to help the buyer out but the buyer keeps trying to come out on top. plus i wouldnt doubt the buyer is hiding something since its sooooo difficult for him to upload pictures

flat486 10-28-2014 02:02 PM

So please tut, before you come to the aid of someone and try to make me look like the bad guy, I'll tell you first hand that I do not appreciate it. We are part of a trust based community. I would want people to warn me of a shitty seller And am doing the same for you all.

hunter3232792 10-28-2014 02:05 PM

Sold and bougth many things over a 2 year+ period of being of this community no problems

marcoaferrer 10-28-2014 02:06 PM

also you cant get law enforcement involved. They will basically laugh at you for taking up there time. nothing was stolen. you bought a product and werent happy with the purchase. the situation would have been different if he took your money with out sending anything. also he doesnt HAVE TO refund your money and accept a return. this happens on ebay all the time and you dont see anyone going to jail. just look at all the people that were actually scammed by fa20lub for thousands of dollars. but toni is still here local and in the tuning biz. buyer, grow some bawls...

flat486 10-28-2014 02:06 PM

Lights delivered around noon Thursday. Put lights on.car Friday evening. Texted kid. Told him I got them on and that I was going to work, would contact later. Saturday morning in the light at my buddy's shop went over lights with 2 other owners. Who pointed out all the flaws. Its all good. I don't need to argue this point. I posted to let buyers be ware of Hunter.

Choose to listen or not

Picasa and Gimp are nice free image programs that will let you resize the photos. That sounds like a viable warranty claim if you didn't modify them. I guess my question is why didn't you notice this prior to installing the lights on your car? First thing you should always do is inspect products for damage prior to installing them. Once installed all bets are off.

hunter3232792 10-28-2014 02:11 PM

Me personally I wouldnt put something on my car then take them off again and then contact the seller I would have let you know the minute I open and inspected the product not a couple days after but thats me

Model Citizen 10-28-2014 02:19 PM

Is op being scummy or does he just have no idea how to show internet conversations?

Here are just a few. Including his text showing BRAND NEW buddy clubs. The deformation in the moulding. And the spaced housing. Will tale brand new ones on break

flat486 10-28-2014 02:26 PM

@Model Citizen

Nope. normally I talk to people face to face. Or via.phone. but Hunter refused to answer. Only his dad has spoken with me, and is very helpful.
