NorCal86 ToyDrive 2014

It's that time of year again! While we are still finalizing details for the bay area meet we have finalized the Sacramento/Central Valley meet.

This year we will again be doing two meets but also we will be supporting two different charities! This means please do your best to come support both meets! The first will occur in Sacramento and I hope to have a good turnout from throughout NorCal. Show Sac86 how much we all want to support their community and have them come support the bay area in turn.

EVENT #1

In conjunction with Sac86 we are partnering with the Okubo/APOA Judo Club to help support the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Sacramento

Please be respectful and mature there will be kids present. Any nonsense you will be asked to leave. No loud music, no burnouts, no revving, etc. Lets all please have fun and enjoy ourselves. This will also serve as Sac86 Monthly meet for November.

If you can please look at this wish list from Boys and Girls Club. These are items that they need for their facility for everyday use.

Less than 2 weeks away! Lets get some more people showing how much NorCal86 cares about ALL OF Nor Cal. Who doesn't love an excuse to caravan to a meet?

Let me know if anyone is interested in a caravan from the Bay Area to the Sacramento ToyDRIVE meet this Sunday. I am thinking meet up point somewhere in the Castro Valley or Dublin/Pleasanton area at say 9AM. :thumbup:

I can't make it to the Sac one, but I will try to get @mellowyellow or someone to drop off toys for me at tomorrow's SB meet, if someone will take them for me!

No, most likely it will be to benefit the Children's Hospital Oakland. We will probably have a wish list from the hospital to give you some ideas, once we confirm and formalize the arrangements.

It is officially benefitting UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland. I should have the wishlist up shortly.

Now that all the events are wrapped up I would sincerly like to thank each and every one of you that donated to these great causes. This community has been so giving it continues to amaze me. Between events #1 (147 toys) and #2 (186 toys) we donated a grand total of 333 toys to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Sacramento and UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland! This is a 30% increase in donations over last year. This would not have been possible without our partners at Sac86, the Ukubo/APOA Juo Club, and SpeedElement. We will continue to grow and learn from these events and continue to serve our local communities who are in need.
