New Owner - 2015 BRZ Aozora
 

Hi All,

I just wanted to say hi! I am the proud new owner of a 2015 Subaru BRZ Aozora edition (aka Series.Blue in the US). I look forward to being a part of this community. From what I've seen so far, this forum is a vast pool of knowledge.

I'm a huge Subaru lover. My history of cars includes a 2011 WRX, a 2012 STi and now my new BRZ.

@JERM^ Do you plan on going out to any of the BRZ meets? I might head out to some in the area. I know the Toronto Subaru Club meets Thursdays at the Krispy Kreme in the Heartland Area. I'm a regular at that meet. I'd be happy to go out to some of the BRZ/FRS meets in the area... although I have to research on where they are lol.

Afaik there is a brz/frs meet around Kipling by brzworld every Wednesday. Never been to a meet yet as I am one super lazy bastard lol. Heartland meets are getting tricky. One day I was driving my ep down mavis and got pulled over randomly by a cop asking where I came from. I have actually just come out of the Subaru dealership after buying my aozora. Turns out cops are cruising that area regularly pulling people over for excessive noise in car meets now. I would assume if they catch a meet in action we could actually get ticketed... Not sure what the ground would be though

TSC has a permit to be in the Krispy Kreme parking lot. We haven't had trouble before, except when our meet was invaded by ERTFA earlier in the summer. But that has blown over now and the meets are going on as usual.

We could always meet for coffee or something outside of the BRZ meets.

That's awesome then. Maybe I will find a day to show up. Although I know horrifyingly little about subbies as I've always been a honda guy and the 86 is my first Subaru.

Everyone has to start sometime. Its all good. My family has always been a Subaru family... And I still don't know everything there is to know about Subarus lol

Yeah it would be fun to have a few more brz's out at the KK TSC meet… Now that iLaw has joined the toyobaru club i don't feel like the odd one out that went with the brz over the 'real subarus'

We shall tag along. When is that happening?
