Smallest bolt on spacer?

What is the smallest possible bolt on spacer I can buy? I am talking to ones with built in lugs, not the ones that require extended studs.

I am trying to fit stock wheels over AP racing sprint. I read it needs a 10mm spacer but I dont think there are 10mm bolt on available.

Maybe I should just buy some slightly longer studs...

I've seen 15mm from several dealers, but I've not seen any 10mm. What wheels are you using?

Just trying to put stock wheels over them, stock tires have a lot of life would hate to waste them. I have track wheels that will clear them.

If you're using stock wheels and tires, @Corner3garage has a great deal on front and rear spacers, but they're 20/25mm front and rear. I have them on my car, and I really like how it makes the overall stance of the car look.

I was going to chime in with 10mm bolt-on as being the smallest.

However, since the spacer nuts can only be a maximum of 10mm deep, you won't have enough thread engagement to be safe.

The technical info I have seen say you should have at least the same nut depth as bolt diameter. Since our lug bolts are 12mm the smallest bolt on spacer should be 12mm, assuming tightened down flush to the hub.

There are 10mm adapters out there but it's a bit of a risk to run them as we have seen something like this happen where the studs on the adapter just tear apart and break away from the spacer/adapter. However, There are some 10mm adapters that people have said worked.

Circuit Sport 5x100 to 5x114.3 Adapter/Spacer (15mm)

We carry Circuit Sports 15mm 5x100 to 5x114.3 adapters and 15mm 5x100 bolt on spacer. Many customer have ran these on their cars and have had great results.

Is there a reason you want a bolt on instead of slip on?

DJCarbine 09-30-2014 08:00 PM

I think 10mm is the smallest for spacers with bolts, but you can get 3mm spacers that slip on and won't require longer studs... but it might not be enough to clear whatever you need to clear

are those muteki open ended nuts?

I wouldn't go thinner than 15mms for bolt on. Recommend H&R Track+ hubcentric alloy spacers

FIC makes a 10mm. Made in Japan too. A little pricey but at the same time, you don't need to buy the additional hubcentric inserts like some other brands so it probably comes out to about the same.

Also, if going with a 10mm or even a 15-20mm spacer with bolts already installed. You need to make sure that your wheels have "cavaties" on the back. Otherwise your stock studs stick out and will hit.
