Hey y'all,

Are there any other frs/brz owners near Rochester? I'm taking delivery of my red frs tomorrow...haven't seen any others yet.

I've been keeping my eyes open, but I haven't seen any around Rochester. I commute 490 from the west side to Victor daily, and am surprised I haven't seen one at all yet.

Seriously tempted to trade in my '07 Impreza Sportwagon on a BRZ, but I'm trying to move out of the city, and picking up a new car just before a mortgage is probably a bad plan. Maybe in a few months, I can swing it.

Nice to see not all the New Yorkers on here are from NYC.

Saw a black BRZ a couple days ago on East Ave. downtown in Rochester. Looked good! First one I've seen in person other than my own frs...

Had my first actual sighting today; was a silver BRZ(maybe FR-S, tough call when rushing past each other at a relative 130+ mph) headed west on 490 about 9:15 this morning. Given I've been keeping an eye out for weeks, I'm amazed it took this long to see one.

I have seen 1 single FRS and 1 single BRZ in the Buffalo area. The BRZ(blue) in amherst, the FRS I think was the dealer..

Trying to get one of these in our portfolio.... :)

I saw a silver BRZ running past me between Canandaigua and Bloomfield early this month. Same one maybe? :party0030:

Just ordered a BRZ Limited WRB - If you're around RIT area, you'll probably see me. Bumping this old thread. :)

I drive from downtown to victor every morning on the 490 for work.

A couple of days ago, i saw a white brz drive by me on the opposite direction the back roads near Lehigh station road and clover road.

I'm taking delivery of a WRB BRZ Limited sometime later this week. Dealer called yesterday saying its in the Boston port. You'll see it all over Rochester!

Kind of old news now. I've been driving my Red BRZ in the Rochester area since mid-November 2012. They're slowly trickling into the area via one of Subaru's largest national dealers. They are by no means common even now. Enjoy owning a relatively unique automobile.

You guys have any regular meets up there?
I'll be there with my WRB BRZ early morning on Aprli 4th this year :)

I saw that blue BRZ in amherst while visiting a friend from college. They parked next to me (white FRS) at Duffs!

Side note: I've only seen 1-2 around in Syracuse area.

I live in Rochester and I have been looking for people with frs/brz to chill with I have a 2015 frs automatic I know that automatics are a hate in car culture some people say your not a car person if you have one and others say drive what you have and love it I'm new to the car scene and I'm looking to learn from people

Have had my frs since august 2013. These cars are semi rare in Rochester.

I'm from Syracuse. There are maybe 4-5 of them around here. Mine spends the majority of time hiding in my shop and the rest of the time on the track. But if you do see me out you will know its me. lol

Just picked up my 2016 manual limited earlier this year. I live in Brighton. I'm planning to jump into autocross next year. Anyone else planning on participating next year?

White 2015 BRZ Limited
 

I've been driving around Rochester for awhile now, and Looking to get into the autocross scene next spring. I daily my BRZ so you'll see me all year long, should be a fun winter!

Try coming to Albany, I got my Series yellow back in the spring time and I have seen 1 other all summer and it was on the Northway with PA plates.
Mine is rarely on street, I bought it for the track and managed to get in 11 Track days this year. Next year shooting for 20 plus and I want to get involved with the Northeast 86Cup.

I really should try autox since they run them 5 minutes from my house here in Albany.

What organization do you track with? I ran 9 events with NASA NE this year. I see 10 times more twins at track events than I do on the street.

All events this year where with SCDA, Though I will be running some NASA in 2018 and also some EMRA for the 86cup. I might also do a Chin since they do Watkins Glen, any day at Watkins is a good day, love that track but only got to do 2 days this year.

I am just waiting for the 2018 calendars to come out so I can start making plans. Car is getting ton of work this winter, so I am already excited for 2018.

That's coincidence, while writing my previous post I just got email from EMRA that my car class is ST-6 for them with the list of modifications I am doing this winter.

Now to find a transponder. Winter needs to go fast

Nasa's 2018 calendar is up. They do Watkins 2-3 times too. Message me if you planning a NASA event.
