Hi Guys,

A few of the KZN 86 owners club are up in Gauteng this week (with their hot 86's!) and decided to meet this Thursday (September 11th) and settle some beef @ the Dyno....

The reason for the "BEE" theme is that one of the strongest N/A 86's from DBN (Known as BUMBLE BEE) is up in JHB and will be battling his gauteng rivals

@DeliciousTuning with mods has got this car to 143wkw 215Nm on Durban's toughest dyno, so let's see what we can achieve on JHB toughest dyno.

Tune Vs No-Tune:

• @Bumble Bee - GT86 (Brz exhaust/Borla UEL Header/Drop in Filter/95 pump + TUNE) was first up on the Dyno and drew a crowd with its sleek looks and grumbling UEL Header - 156.1Hp and 171nm

• @GeeTee86 - GT86 (Brz exhaust/Borla UEL Header/Cold air intake/95pump)was next, also sending vibrations down the ...of the ladies around, with that sweet sound of the UEL Header - 142.3Hp and 150nm

Result: Bumble Bee won this battle with a margin of approx. 10% Hp and 14%Nm

Recreational runs:

• @FT_86_SM_GP - GT86 (Brz exhaust/Drop in Filter/Torco Octane Booster) - 143.7Hp and 152nm

• @TheGooseman - RunX TRD was up next and lifted those Dyno figures with an impressive run - 156.1Hp and +??nm(Did not get the reading on the Torque on the second run...too much excitement)

• @Guseman - RunX Rsi Turbo was next with his Tokyo Terror (FTW!) and drew the biggest crowd of the night!!:respekt: The Turbo X never fails to wow crowds! - 336.1Hp and 351nm!

So how did bumblebee's numbers compare with what they get at the coast?

Okay, lets do the math:

1Hp = 0.745699872kw

156.1Hp x 0.745699872 = 116.4wkw

DBN results: 143wkw and 215nm
JHB results: 116.4wkw and 171nm

Nominal decrease: 26.6wkw and 44nm
Percentage decrease: 18.6% decrease in wkw and 20.47% decrease in Nm

Looks reasonable, not sure if the maths is correct, slept at 2am this morning, so brain isn't working at its best:bonk:

Different dynos though.
