North East Indianapolis Owners?

Just looking to see if there are any other fr-s/brz owners around the area. haven't seen anyone else with one, I'm in the noblesville area myself

Machfive 09-06-2014 10:44 AM

I live in fishers and have seen a few. There's a white Fr-s that I see often around my area. Also I commute to Beech Grove for work and some times there's a blacked out and lowered Fr-s that drives in the fast lane sometimes on the way home from work 465N. Anyways they've blacked out all reflective and light emitting part of their rear *safety police* anyways I've seen a bunch around town. It's time to start some meets

I live off Fall Creek in Geist. I used to have a Whiteout FR-S and now I am in the silver 10 series. If you travel up and down Fall Creek (which is my daily commute) or along I-465 on the East side you may see me and my IU plates.

Primeraman 10-22-2014 09:53 AM

Haha. Im currently in the Army at the moment but my family lives off fallcreek near 96th street. Im home just about every other weekend because my wife still works and lives up there. Im about to deploy but I should be living back in the area permanently in about a year. I'll keep an eye out for you. Mine is silver as well. When I get back you should see me driving around the area hopefully with a few more mods and a nice front mount intercooler. ;) What year did you graduate IU? I graduated in '05.

I'm in Lafayette, but do some romping on the North Side.

I work in Castleton. Don't get on the forum too often anymore.
Mine is hot lava. I think there are 2 in that color in the area, but mine has Colts' plates and an old lady behind the wheel.

I work in Castleton too but am not logged onto the forum very often. I drive a 2015 in Halo. I try to look for others and sometimes see them in the area.

Saw one a couple of weeks ago and they honked for me but I wasn't quick enough to honk back.

Slightly off topic but how do you Indy residents like driving an 86 around here? I'm getting very close to buying a used one for a fun second car. Anyone go down to the twisites in Bloomington regularly?

Primeraman 12-24-2014 12:53 PM

Bloomington + 86 = amazing

Any specific part of Bloomington?

Primeraman 01-23-2015 01:11 AM

Im not sure of the routes we used to take but I used to do a fun run with the Audi club of america back when I had my GTI. I know we would always swing by the Story Inn. Not really Bloomington but more Brown County area. I love Bloomington though bc I graduated from IU. Probably one of my favorite towns.

Thanks. I'm going to check it out in March. My brz is my first manual car. I'm trying to get comfortable blipping at the twisties. I want to get this down before going to the dragon.

I wont be back in country until August but I can hit a couple buddies up and find a good route or let you link up with them when they have an organized fun run. Whatpart of the state do you live in?

Thanks, I'm in Indy. I was looking at a map yesterday and found a couple of good routes. I want to drive around Indiana while I'm still here. I'll do that my self. It would be cool if there's an organized run at the dragon though.

Anyone else interested in our area region? Summer time?

Good to see more Indiana 86 owners :)

I'm setting up a group for us all - we've had one meet already, and have some awesome events in the works for this year.

Do you guys know some auto care shop around indianapolis who knows about our car?? I need to send it to install a fog light kit.I just bought a Winjet kit and there's no manual or installation instruction with it. I'm a novice in wiring stuff and I don't wanna mess on screws on the body kit under in order to pull the under cover to install the fog light. I have 2015 RS1.Thanks for any referral plus give me the address.

Muncie BRZ owner here.

squall leonhart 07-20-2018 07:52 PM

New owner here.

Located near Muncie. Don't see many others around.

I'm originally from Ohio, looking forward to traveling back to my parents with the FR-S...many more curves & hills in their neck of the woods.

squall leonhart 02-09-2019 10:52 AM

I've crossed paths a couple times with a white FR-S in Muncie (including yesterday). But both times I was driving my black Celica...so might not stand out to another twin driver.

But - if you're on here - nice car! Good to see one out and about. Looking forward to spring, as I'm avoiding salt like the plague.
