**Member Kills** Post your latest take downs!

I always liked this section in other Forums, so enjoy!!

My last kill was a 2010 R35, I was on my way home from Supra Nationals this year(Tx2K10) making the hour long drive at 3am. Off in the distance I saw the unmistakable tail lights or a new GTR, I pulled up along side and rolled down my windows, he too was headed back after a long night at tx2k10, he reved a couple times before punching it, and I punch it as well, he took a slight lead till my boost hit peak and I easily walked him up to 2 car lengths till 150mph, this was started from a 65 roll. After that he gave me the thumbs up and exited

With 27 people viewing your post and not commenting you would almost get the idea that a lot of people agree with my thinking that street racing is stupid.

ichitaka05 08-29-2010 09:39 AM

or some ppl don't have high hp car, so they can't race...

I'm all the above. My Imp barely can win against Si in straight line. Of course in off road, I'll take almost anyone on. lol

C-Bone 08-29-2010 12:18 PM

I'd rather not embarass myself with my 4cyl fwd tiburon... looks cool, sounds fast; but its really not no matter how much I'd like it to be . plus there are always tons of police around so with my luck I'd get popped and I havnt had a ticket in 5+ years and I'd like to keep it that way lol

You're a fucking idiot, take that shit to the track and fucking stay there. It's people like you that increases our insurance and kill our families and friends.

I lost a good friend last year because of people like you, because fucking idiots decided to race on the streets.

I hope one day you fucking learn you're lesson, u P.O.S, u don't deserve to be driving a Supra.:mad0259::mad0259::mad0259:

Lol wow someone is a Lil touchy on this subject, look I agree with what your saying, but if there no one on the road, like when I was driving at 3am, and your on a main highway (I was on I-10) then I really don't see a problem, now your right and I don't agree with people flying around on back roads and in and out of towns. Past year my best friend of 7 years died in a bike accident cause he was being stupid on a back road, so no offense but just don't call people out when u don't know the whole story, especially the way you came at me, if you wanna talk since into people don't offend them because then they just stop listening otlr caring what u have to say, enjoy your day:thumbsup:

Now, now... drag and other racing itself should stay in tracks. Sorry to hear about your friend & illegal street racing will deserve some kind of consequences (soon or later). I got mine and that's why I keep mine in the track, but calm down.

+100

Back my in hay days (mid to late 90's) Sat night was all about street racing in Southern California and it was underground. All the roads were BFE and it was start to finish (flagger). It got so out of control that they opened up Race Legal @ Qualcomm Stadium every Fri

Once Fast and the Furious came out, everyone and their mom got in to cars. I lost count of how many Eclipses got painted lime green.

Racing on the freeway is the dumbest thing ever! "lets race till... umm I win! honk on 3...":rolleyes:

Before get into more of street race stuff. I'll post track race

June, I went to open track day at my local track. there was Impreza hatch (my gen) w sweet wheels (iirc one of works wheels) and we both had bout same tuning done to our car, so we wanted to see which one of us is fast on the track. We got on and we were having good battle. Final lap flag were waved and we were pushing our car and final corner (S turn into 45 left) He was next to me (just 1/3 car behind but still side of me) and in straight line I miss-shifted and we both lined up and... NSX came middle of no where and over took both of us. We were so surprised that we didn't know who won. After we got out of track, we both laugh our ass off.

So in the end... NSX is hella fastest than NA Impreza!

Of course there were tons more other cars that were faster than us, but NSX sure made big impression on us

BoostJunkie 08-29-2010 04:17 PM

Just because it ain't your thing, dosn't mean y'all have to be pricks, and again you didnt read my last statement about how I didn't say it had to be on the street, if u got kills at the track I'd like to hear about them to.... You ever wonder why some forums Have pretty decent people and others just have assholes, please don't make this one of those forums, I actually like this one compared to most:bonk:

Franisco 08-29-2010 04:42 PM

If it was me, I'd just put a 2JZ in it...OOPS! wrong thread..

Just recently found out that, that kid gonna be swapping WRX (2L) engine in there, so next yr when I race him, I gonna get beaten by him... Unless, I do some ER33 or EZ30 swap in there too... but I wanna save up $ for FT86 too... car is expensive hobby :)

Specially for ya, I bet. My car parts are rare to come by... of course some are ridiculously expensive (like 22B stuff), but not bad as some of rare Supra parts.

It's ok, I love my hobby and I wouldn't trade it, especially after I got my dream car

So in the sign, it said your Supra has 500whp? What's in it? I don't remember reading any spec on the member's ride thread on your Supra.

102mm Hks carbon TI exhaust, true twin conversion, 4in hks down pipe, hks boost cont(EVC), fuel cut eliminator, Greddy FMI 3-row, fairly new stock turbos but rebuilt with billet internals, bigger injectors and a good tune, Dyno'd at 502whp on 20psi on c16 race fuel, I run it on about 17-18 for daily, so on pump gas it probably around 440-450whp.

You actually make me laugh, thanks for the comedy :laughabove:

Not a big fan of 'kill' thread posts. Usually they are:
A.) Unsafe
B.) BS
C.) Both

I would accept a kill thread with the requirements that it be track video only, or it doesn't get posted.

You have good point on the track vid part... Hm, that means I need to buy some digital camera. Maybe time to buy GoProHD

My buddy has one that we use when we are on the motorcross track. (mounted on the helmet) Works great. Only complaint is the quality in the dark, but thats nit picking. Overall very good.

I'm sorry that it pleases me to test my car against faster newer vehicles to see if it measures up, 90% of the time it's at the track, but every once in a while someone messes with me, and again I never said this thread was street races only, track races with vids are greatly encouraged

IC, isn't it also you can't see where you're actually shooting is another con? I was just reading on it and said that there's no screen to see where you are shooting, so sometime you're shooting funny spot?

Ya it takes a little trial and error. But once you find the sweet spot, its all good.

Boost Junkie, I don't really think you understand what we are trying to say.

This is not playstation, this is real life, respect it.

It doesn't matter if there's no one in the street, shit happens when you least expect it.

You probably learn your lesson when it's too late, either, u seriously injury your self, someone else, get stopped by the police an get your license suspended and charged for stunting, or whats even worse, Parents having to bury their own children.

Grow up and go back to your Supra Fourms and join those immature, stupid people who think street racing is cool.:mad0259::mad0259::mad0259::mad0259:
