Nice. I always thought that this car looks good in yellow. I guess the price is fair when you take into account what it would cost to add all the extras that come standard. I am a little surprised that it did not come with different wheels like the Subaru Blue did.

i really hope the production models arent like some people saw the at auto shows

I've had a yellow one in my computer for months now.

I really love all the new stuff on it, but I really wish it came in a color other than yellow. I guess they'll release the other colors in 2-6 months. :p

the price isn't too laughable. Ordering all those parts through japanparts and having it all shipped here will probably cost you a lot more than the price difference between this and a base FR-S, plus it is all warrantied. I like it, but I rather use the 5k price difference on performance instead of appearance.

(i do want that TRD steering wheel though since it is uniform width all the way around, but it is pricey)

I don't think you looked at all the pictures... 30k sounds about right.
Your paying for a limited edition TRD FRS that has about 5-6k worth of TRD parts not just badges, So base price plus TRD parts= 30k+
(not to mention the paint job not available on other models)
Its not for everybody but obvioulsy but it will sell just fine

Agreed. I can understand why someone that already has the car would not be impressed but many have already spent this much to make their cars look similar to this. Plus that yellow paint is going to garner a lot of attention on the street and at the local meets. It is a nice package.

Would I buy one? No, but I think all 1500 of them will go pretty quick.

Most these guys look at the price and automatically jump to the 'but no turbo' state of mind..lmao...That car has a lot of cosmetic mods done to it, that TRD steering wheel alone is like 800+ dollars if you were to buy it from japan. I can't imagine paying for all those TRD goodies piece by piece myself but it is a great looking FRS....I honestly think you get a discount at 30K on those TRD parts

I always thought that it was supposed to be some sort of stylized "T" pattern - as in "T" for Toyota (or Toyoda). That is why I always laugh when people call it a fake carbon fiber dash panels because, it actually isn't trying to pretend to be carbon fiber, it is just a pattern they chose (and repeated it almost everywhere in the vehicle). They "now" have changed the pattern on the dash to be a fake carbon fiber in the 2015 FR-S' - ironic.
