Car Arrived!
 

Just got a text about an hour ago from my dealer saying my car had arrived! I jumped in my car broke about 3 traffic laws :bonk: just in time to watch my car being taken off the truck! Asphalt auto :]

Too bad I cant drive it yet, still needs to go through PDI which takes a few hours and I have work tonight :[ Feels like im coming down with some type of flu I think though ;)

What does PDI stand for? Is it the mechanic inspection?

Yes. Pre Delivery Inspection.

Did Chicago get all of there deliverys? Our cars down here I was told goes from Portland to Chicago to Tilton then Champaign. My dealer is in Tilton.

My dealer got 4 in so I get to compare colors side by side, and I have to say, the two colors that look absolutely stunning are asphalt and whiteout. Dealer has asphalt, whiteout, silver, and ultramarine, mine being the asphalt. Handling is nearly telekinetic, think it and it does. Brakes seem a little stiff, but I guess coming from a really old car, whats one to expect? :P

Unfortunately I cant shun my responsibilities to my patients, so thus I have to drag my sorry butt into work for the next 2 nights. But im off Thursday, will be detailing and cleaning my current DD to trade in, possibly get a few more $$ out of the dealer for it :D

I'm in Champaign, too. Nothing is here yet as far as the FR-S goes.

However, the first BRZ was sold at the Savoy Subaru dealership last Saturday morning. It arrived Friday May 25, '12.

Luckily I live next to some forested area, with about a 5 mile stretch of nice curvy road. I know its not ideal, being only 5 miles, but makes for a lovely test drive road :D

Arizona hasn't seen ours arrive yet either. My dealer was expecting their 11 initial to come in, but I think the holiday weekend may have delayed. Whatever the case as long as I have for the 1 June launch (no pun intended) then all is good. As I see a few of us are coming down with something and may be missing work. I called in sick 2 months ago for 1 June.:happyanim:

The pictures don't even do it justice. You have to see it in the sunlight to really appreciate how deep the color is.

PDI does not take a couple hours lol.
