Sweetness! Thank goodness Will is doing the road test, now I know my BRZ will be safe when it arrives on 6/13.

Doing the paperwork now :)

Got the car, love it so far but I'm sure I'll eventually have similar opinions to Ryephile.. I moved forward anyways since I'm confident I can resolve any problems I have with it.

Congrats! Now that you have it, you want to donate that Type R to me, right?! :happy0180:

I only took a couple with my phone so far (one in the showroom and one of the trunk with a case of yuengling in it, courtesy of the guys at the dealership). I can post them, nothing crazy. I'll take a lot of pics once I throw it up on the lift, etc. I'll upload them now and post them.

Oh and my dealership (mentioned in this thread already, but Mastro Subaru) honored all commitments to me including the pricing I worked out with them back in Jan.

I could not be happier with the dealership, and that's something I have *NEVER* said about any dealership before in my life.

LOL ironically the Type-R is parked next to it in my work's parking garage right now.. need to get both cars home tonight then the ITR gets into the garage.. BRZ sits outside.

Eventually both will be in the garage.

Haven't tried Yuengling yet. I take it that was the first thing you bought with the BRZ? ;)

Also, is that front license plate bracket sitting the trunk too?

The beer was a gift from the dealer.

I've dealt with many dealers over the years and this dealership is great.
I can't wait to head down to Tampa to pickup my BRZ from them on 6/13

I didn't realize yuengling was even available all the way down there...nevertheless, it is an awesome beer:bow:

Mostly DD and autocross. I have a race car which gets most of the track duty (for obvious reasons). The BRZ (like the ITR) will see HPDE time as well of course.

It's brewed in Tampa now as well my friend :)

Jayde 05-29-2012 07:32 PM

Excellent!! Too bad the front bumper was drilled on the R. :(

Love how they're just about the same size. I'm going from an Integra myself to the BRZ.

Not drilled, just doesn't have the caps installed :) They had holes by default but little plastic caps over the holes. Much better than the Subaru "drill holes" solution. ITR is about .5" lower than stock and I think the BRZ is still lower overall.. looks it anyways.

Buddy just pulled up with his 97 ITR so time to go move cars from work to home :)

Your buddy has an ITR too?!!? *insert jealous smilie here*

I know the bumpers have those little dents that extend out, where I it would be drilled to mount the front plate. Could be mistaken though. Or do you mean the car had the holes drilled when you got it?

A good friend of mine had an ITR until recently. Seems his bumper wasn't drilled though.

Yep. I know a lot of ITR owners :)

In your pic those bumps are the covers. If you pop them off the holes are underneath :)

So...are all of Mastro's pre-sold BRZs coming with a case of Yuengling? :)

I never knew they popped off, and I had my Integra for 5+ years!

Good to know that I might finally be able to see a BRZ on the road, even though I'm not usually in Tampa I might get lucky. Congrats

Itgb 05-30-2012 04:46 PM

Congrats on the BRZ. :happy0180:

And now I'm intrigued by this Yuengling beer because I can't get it on the West Coast.

Siamtampa 05-30-2012 06:00 PM

Just wondering how much you pay out of the door?

Thanks:thanks:
