Damn, I was hoping for a factory cage and everything else stripped out ... ala Porsche RS version or the Neon ACR.

MokSpeed 07-23-2014 12:57 PM

Not sure if troll or serious.

Heard of the monogram?

Has parts but no car?

Jyn 07-23-2014 01:17 PM

So a yellow monogram that comes with TRD body kit, quad exhausts, some fender garnishes, lowered on TRD springs, and some interior goodies. Idr, but does it have the heated seats, because that'd make it a good deal IMO.

Eh, I don't pay much attention to FR-S bidness, but OP Did have a date of when they are actually available in the post.

That's really all I've got... Exciting though. I hope we get one. That'd be cool.

The thread for the RS 1.0 FR-S is still at the top of the front page and has been there since early April.

Everyone need to chill. These kind of things are nothing compare to dark ages of FT86 ('09~'10).

Yes, I get that there are same threads, but that doesn't mean you can be mean about it. There are other words you use to inform the OP or even link the so called "thousands of same thread".

Ok, lesson learned. I'm still admittedly getting used to the whole forum "thing". I figured incorrectly that the general forum was ok - I didn't check to find the specific car.

Is there a thread to these "dark ages?" LOL Perhaps I could skim through and find out more about what NOT to do! (j/k) I'm open to learning and will be more careful next time I post.

So many glorious comments in that thread. I especially like how the rear valance is rice but the quad exhaust isn't.

The car didn't even come out until 2012 though. What else was there to do for three years other than rehash rumor threads?

You gotta love how people's lives are so inundated with this forum that they can consciously keep track of "thousands of threads".

'09~'10 was called "dark ages" or "FT ages = Forgotten Topic ages". There were over an yr of pure BS article left and right: Turbo'ed, AWD turbo, Subaru vs is only AWD and Toyota will be RWD and list just goes on and on... just like current FT1, it's pure speculation & BS articles ;)

Now, we get more info (both true and false). Usually true info are giving out A LOT faster. I, myself knew bout 10series near 10 months before they announced it and RS since early last yr. Others get few insider info and spread these kind of info out quickly, so by the time so called "hot off the presses" it's usually old news with very few new infos.

But thanks for the info. At least we got released date

Yeah, telling me! I used to do it... but I gave up. It's impossible to keep it up lol

Yup, pretty much all BS rumors. Literally only solid info were found in this forum by our admin w photos & vids of FT86 Concepts testing at Nur. It's kinda funny that a lot of BS article came from us "speculating" &/or "wishing" on production ver. We figured that auto blogs are not reading detail and read whatever sounds good and just BS'ing through making the article, so we made the BS thread about Subaru announced AWD turbo ver and several dozens of auto blogs wrote that "Subaru Announced AWD turbo ver" or something along the line and newbies come here posting here about it. We (old school members) were laughing our ass off!!!!!
