Asphalt Scion FR-S
Hey guys! Just got my Asphalt FR-S today and I am super excited. I've only put 30 miles on it so far, but here are some pics for your visual pleasure! I initially preferenced a firestorm FR-S, but man am I glad I went with Asphalt! I'll leave some impressions later, want to break it in first :)

Thanks for the pics. I preorder the Asphalt. It is the mystery color. Not many pics at first then it looks different in different lighting. It goes from light metallic grey to dark metallic grey then almost to metallic black. Your pics show all the shades of the Asphalt and I love it even more. We made the right choice of color and I liked all the colors available. I can't wait for mine. Good luck with your FR-S and happy motoring. :happy0180: |
Yeah, I'm still torn between this and the H8R. I've been leaning towards the orange lately but damn does that look nice :)

Thanks Yall. I'm keeping it stock for now. Maybe after the warranty expires, either a hks supercharger or greddy turbo kit. We'll see, simple bolt on intake and exhaust will probably give it some nice gains.

Congrats on the new ride! I've been contemplating the Asphalt color myself. This pretty much sealed the deal. I just wish there were more Asphalt FR-S's out there.

Could we have some more pictures please? I'm about to pull the plug on a GT86, but still torn on colour. This dark gray won me over. Originally wanted the blue, but the colour seems to shift too much with varying light, from stunning to drab. This gray should conceal scratches and dirt alot better too, and thus hold the value better. Also, gray is timeless, and express a sort of understated elegance in my eyes. Great choice!

Hehe. Thank you. I've had my DGM (asphalt) for well over a year now. :-) You should treat yours to 1" lower and some spacers though, she'll thank you for it, and anyone who lay eyes upon her.... ;)
