Been waiting for this, excited at the prospect of my new car now that it's up on Scion's site!!

Changes include TRD wheels, quick shifter, and suspension parts (lowering springs,sway bar) available compared to previous build years'.

Of course they'll start offering TRD lowering springs right after I pick up a set of springs..but wow they are pricey!

They might be worth the extra cost if they don't cause your axles to break prematurely.

They've been offering them for like 6 months now.

That's the biggest reason I was wanting to go with TRD...keeping my warranty intact!

I can't wait to see a dyno on it! The shape looks rather similar to the @GrimmSpeed unit. I wonder how they compare.

When I did the configurator and added it, it only put $259 into the price calculation.

It's a shame none of the 3D images are shown when you add the TRD extras

Those wheels look considerably better than the stock ones, but I'd still go the aftermarket route

I like where this is going so far.

I wonder how the TRD springs compare to the STi ones since I can get a pretty good discount on the TRD ones.

Interesting that the new Halo color that replaced whiteout is not an extra $500 anymore.

259 for 4 TRD rims?! Sign me up!! (I wish.)

I may be mistaken, but I believe it's because the new white no longer has a pearlescent finish to it.

I bet they're 639 MSRP because its the 200 something plus install cost of a few hundred.

So the Whiteout color will be more rare even though it seems it was one of the more popular choices.

The chances of getting your warranty voided over springs are pretty low... unless you usually get your springs from rust buckets in junk yards. :bellyroll:

Considering you don't get to keep the stock wheels that extra price $64.75 per wheel to 'upgrade' doesn't sound out of the norm.

Congrats to Toyota for every sucker they manage to trick into buying these ridiculously overpriced parts.

Still need to buy tires for them though.

But the "Halo" looks like it's covered in nicotine, at least from the pics. Love my Whiteout.

To get the configurator working, only some zip codes will work. 14850 worked for me but 78703 did not.

You try and paint match your whiteout yet? ;) I promise, you won't like it then :mad0259::mad0259: If halo doesn't have the pearl, for the first time, I am bummed I didn't wait for the 2015

Edit: Googled the color, it is supposed to have a $395 price tag and will be a pearl. FML

If that's for the set, i'm pretty pissed that wasn't available last year.

I'm not "crazy" about those new trd wheels, but i like them a zillion times more than the regular ones.

I went into the dealer to buy a white FR-S, but walked up close to one in that color the first time and noticed the pearl white finish and went home with red instead. I'm planning on having it for a long time and it's just a matter of "when" I need to touch something up and realized the white was not going to be a good idea, long term.

I get a bit sad every time I see a great looking white one like yours, but I just couldn't do it.
